Thats one hell of a crystal ball you've got there ! Where exactly do you think Blackburn would have finished without Bellamy in their team ?? Who else in the Blackburn squad is capable of scoring 13 premiership goals ??
-
So if Bellamy had scored his 13 Premiership goals for us instead of Blackburn, you seriously think our season wouldn't have been better ???
-
yeah me too, but its one of those things to do that i always put off But i must do it, things can be such a mess without one. Perhaps you can sort yours while you're recovering from yr op jimbo!! 136067 Good idea, maybe I should, I can't give the excuse that I've not got time !
-
I need to get mine sorted too, with three kids its not fair not to have some plans in place, I still haven't nominated a beneificary with my pension should I die in service, I need to get sorted out.

In a lot of cases the only alcohol that is a part of the all inclusive deal is the locally brewed stuff, ie the local gnats piss.

The problem Newcastle United had with managing Craig Bellamy is that with Sir Bobby Robson and Graeme Souness is that the two managers where extreme oposites of the spectrum, in Robson we had a manager that let players get away with too much and with Souness we had a manager that only knew extreme disapline. A manager with a balanced approach to players would not have had a problem with Bellamy ie Mark Hughes.

isnt there a mexican stadium that holds just under 120000 ? 135988 I thought the Maracanã in Rio was the biggest ?

I wouldn't argue the toss between them, the biggest question regarding the pair is why can't the play as well for their country as they do for their clubs ! 135744 Can they play together ? If you had to choose, I'd go for Gerrard every time. 135919 I think that is the main problem of the English midfield. Accomodating two very good players. The fact that they are so much better at club level might have to do that the one has his Makelele the other one his Alonso who keep them their backs free. It will be interesting how Mourinho tries to accomodate Ballack and Lampard next season... 135926 I've thought for a while he should only play one of them. He has to decide. Probably alongside Carrick, on the basis that the team shape is far more important than playing your best players and hoping they gel. This has been proved historically many many times. 135929 Exactly! I've thought for a long time that SGE should only play one of them. They are too similar, for me, and the two just don't fit together imo. Gerrard is better imo but everyone has their own thoughts. It's a bit like the old Clemence/Shilton thing - two great players but only one can play. Yes, we can play more than one midfielder but the point I am making is that we can only play one midfielder of that type. Gerrard OR Lampard alongside someone else. Maybe Carrick is the man to get the nod. 135938 I think Rooneys injury gives him the opportunity to play both and Carrick. I would go: Beckham - Lampard - Carrick - J.Cole --------------------Gerrard ---------------------Owen giving Lampard the licence to bomb on from midfield knowing Carrick in the holding role is there as insurance, and Gerrard a role floating between midfield and attack dependind on who has possession, with instruction to shoot on sight and look for those killer through-ball he used to play to Owen at Liverpoo. 135960 I agree this is possible because of Rooneys injury. However he could also play Joe Cole in Rooneys role, who is more used to playing in that position having done it before ? Looking at the papers today, Rooney will be going and may play though. 135964 On the strength that Rooney's been spotted riding a bike ! He's not kicked a ball in anger yet !

If the club announce that Roeder has a 30m transfer kitty without securing a major sponsorship or something, i would be very worried for the clubs future. 135935 If the club announces that there is a £30m transfer kitty, the asking price of any transfer target would rocket. Far better to keep schtum when it comes to transfer funds.
-
Just pretend they never made it.
-
I get the feeling that funds are very low at the club, hence the appointment of Roeder, whilst I'm sure that it Roeder needs to sell before he can buy, i think we will find that some of the money gained will go in the bank.

You can stick Pennant up your arse, Wenger got rid of him for good reason, the bloke is a liability off the pitch, he'd be in the papers more than the first team. No thanks.

Now that is fucking class !

Wayne Rooney will be back in action in three weeks. (The People) And his fellow England striker Michael Owen has slammed any doubts over his World Cup future insisting he will be fit to make the trip to Germany. (News of the World) The duo's national captain David Beckham, meanwhile, is on the verge of signing a deal that will keep him at Real Madrid for life. (The People) Beckham's former Manchester United team-mate Ruud van Nistelrooy could be at Old Trafford next season unless the club gets an offer in excess of £12m for the player. (Daily Star) However, Man Utd's Giuseppe Rossi and Gerard Pique have become the most sought-after players in the country, with a host of clubs aiming to take them on loan next season. (Daily Star) Chelsea have stepped up their bid to signing AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko by offering Hernan Crespo as part of the deal. (News of the World) Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is also in the market for a striker and is planning to prolong Duncan Ferguson's Premiership career by offering him a contract. (News of the World) Staying on the strike front, Liverpool and Wigan will lose out in their bid to sign Crystal Palace striker Andy Johnson to Everton. (Daily Express) But not if Arsene Wenger has anything to say about it. He is willing to pay £8m for the player. (Sunday Mirror) Jose Mourinho will make Feyenoord striker Salomon Kalou his first summer signing. (News of the World) But Mourinho may end up without Eidur Gudjohnsen, who is a target for Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder. (The People) Prior to that, though, Roeder's first job as Newcastle manager will be to axe Jean-Alain Boumsong, Albert Luque, Lee Bowyer, Celestine Babayaro, Titus Bramble, Craig Moore and Nicky Butt. (News of the World) Roeder's a busy man - Newcastle have also upped their bid to sign Blackburn defender Lucas Neill. (Daily Star) On the managerial front, Peter Taylor will make Ray Wilkins his assistant when he is named Charlton manager. (News of the World) The pair will only get the post, however, after Wigan boss Paul Jewell turned down the job. (Sunday Mirror) Jewell, meanwhile, is busy in his efforts to bring back striker Nathan Ellington to the JJB Stadium. (The People) The Wigan player getting the most attention at present, however, is Pascal Chimbonda. Tottenham had a £3m offer for the defender rejected but will weigh in with a higher bid. (The People) Another defender in the headlines is Charlton's Luke Young, who is on his way to Germany in the summer... but for club football. Bayern Munich are among the Bundesliga clubs after his signature. (Various) Another man on the move is Steed Malbranque, who Fulham have transfer listed after he turned down a £50,000-a-week offer from the club - a Craven Cottage record. (News of the World) Relegated Birmingham will welcome offers in the region of £5m for midfielder Jermaine Pennant. Liverpool are among those willing to pay the fee. (News of the World) Middlesbrough players have been told by owner Steve Gibson they will have a major say in who takes over as Boro boss. (Various) If it were up to striker Yakubu, however, the man for the job would be Martin O'Neill. (Sunday Mirror) But according to sources at Crystal Palace, their manager Iain Dowie will take over the role having revealed he will walk out off Selhurst Park. (Daily Star)

Sadly we missed his pace and his goals to the detriment of the team.
