  1. Stupid pavements always killing people ! That has happened to 2 of my friends now on separate occassions. The person deserves a slap and the pavement kills them or puts them in a wheelchair.
  2. 2 years next month. Its a record for me, I usually get bored after 8 months and leave. I then take a year off and start the cycle again but i`m not getting any younger so i`m trying my hardest to stay in this job.
  3. Just found this, don`t know if its old but its some kid kid falling out of a ride. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-35608651387949808
  4. For those that have a dodgy stomach from drinking last night. milkshake

  6. With friends like that... I felt bad, I finally had the balls to tell him about 2 weeks later, luckily for our friendship he laughed about it.
  7. Mine was when I was 16 with my friends Ex Girlfriend. She finished with him and he was devastated so I said I would go and have a word to see if I could get them back together. Unfortunatly for him I ended up with her.
  8. I was randomly browsing you tube at home for some reason, its all I do at work but anyway I found this. Its Singing in the rain vs StarWars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeYgju2qopM Also heres the VW Advert one, I`m sure theres some footage of this dancer earlier in the thread http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26D237eGx8k Also in this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0xPrTc1Vxw
  9. Didn`t Anal oliver say something about a 6ft 4 defender coming.
  10. Norfolk, Lowestoft and upwards sound like farmers. Very thick sounding. Luckily although I live a few miles from those areas I escaped the accent.
  11. Snowing down here now. Its crap unless its in December. Its more boring at work aswell, we get alot less women visiting the Hairdressers, Nail Bar, Tanning Salon and bridal shop on this road.
  12. He has a point there. If you class that picture as porn then you have led a very sheltered life. I`m sure if a boss saw that on your screen but you explained it was on a football site there would be no disciplinary action taken. I certainly wouldn`t take any on my staff. You see worse in FHM and Zoo these days don`t you. Personally I think it was just an excuse to get rid of you mate. Mind, I'd sack on the spot anyone who read FHM or Zoo, just as a matter of taste. Heh yeah its crap thats why I wasn`t sure if it was the same type of content. These magazines are on normal shelves not covered though I think. They sell them in Tescos.
  13. Have you seen the Simpsons when he goes to the chiropractor who says you need to come and see me 3 times a week forever. Chiropracters are quacks tbh. Stress can cause back and neck ache. I suffer from that then it usually leads to migraine.
  14. how the fuck would you know? Me, I know for a fact, so shut you pie hole go and find your work's internet usage policy and come back to me I think you'll find that in the real world (of which clearly you have very little experience), there is something of a dichotomy between the official hard line stance of a codified policy and the reality of the situation. It's very unlikely that- so long as it doesn't hamper productivity- an employer will bring disciplinary action to simple browsing of the internet. However, if they caught you looking at tits, then it'd be an entirely different matter. Pornographic material is simply not acceptable in the workplace. The odd post on a football forum is fine, provided that the task in hand is also completed to a satisfactory degree. I've worked in 5 different companies with workforces of 5, 15, 50, 300 and 10's of thousands. So take your 'experience' and fuck off, I know what I'm talking about Clearly not Also did you ignore someones very good point about being able to use the net in their spare time (ie lunch) but not being able to look at naked women? No, they said they could use the net for personal reasons, which is not browsing forums, go and read it again FFS Im sure someone mentioned it but can't be arsed to look through the thread. Anyway, what if someone has permission to use the net for what they like in their freetime other than looking at tits? Jon's point is perfectly valid. I know that on my lunch break I'm allowed to do whatever I like- within reason- online with my boss pottering around the same room. He's seen me on toontastic. I do, however, know that if I had porn on my screen, he'd be less than impressed. did I say anything about lunchtimes FFS? and again, it's not porn. Would you get sacked for looking at page 3 on your lunch break? He has a point there. If you class that picture as porn then you have led a very sheltered life. I`m sure if a boss saw that on your screen but you explained it was on a football site there would be no disciplinary action taken. I certainly wouldn`t take any on my staff. You see worse in FHM and Zoo these days don`t you. Personally I think it was just an excuse to get rid of you mate.
  15. Good man Seriously though the stats prove that. Its such a waste that he hasn`t improved his game to the extent we need for a club our size.
  16. Gemmill do you even have an argument/a point/thoughts/a brain ? Easy to sit back and try (unsuccessfully i might add) to pick holes in someone else's argument without offering positive thoughts on a route forward yourself. My point is simply this: 1. We are not going to be able to sign a John Terry or a Rio. 2. We 've paid big money for the likes of Boumsong, Shambles and have even brought in experienced Full backs in Car and baba and it hasn't worked out, (failed miserably in fact). Should we 'A' panic and sign another big money defender i.e. Curtis for £9m who may well turn out to be another flop like Shambles or Boum or should we 'B' let pearson work with the very promising potential, crop of youngster defenders and mould them into quality players? Taylor is our future in defence build round him. When i put it like this, surely even Gemmill can figure out the right move. That sounds ludicrous to me TOPTOON and please stop using the tabloid nonsense like Shambles - it makes you look thick. As for moulding quality? Well you can to some extent but having seen some exceptional talent at Newcastle from relatively young players in Waddle, Beardsley and Gascoigne as well as those who proved to be very good players like Andy Cole you are so well wide of the mark in your claims that Taylor is 'awesome'. He is fortunate that we have fuck all else tbh. Kids tend to buy the hype. It is obvious that you have. YOu told us that Ramage would be a very good player at centre half and that it wasnt fair to judge him on hi time at fullback. It was patently obvious he didnt have the physical quality to play there at Premiership level. Taylors fuck ups at U21 level and Premiership level are not infrequent. He is, however, young. The kids simply dont have that obvious quality that the good players mentioned above did have. There isnt a centre half on our books who could kick a young Steve Howey's arse never mind Jonathan Woodgates. The future is in the transfer market. If you cant see the obvious flaws in the games of Taylor, Ramage or Huntington then you are misguided in the extreme. We have had a team of talented kids playing for us before and those kids were light years ahead of the talent we currently have from the academy. (3 of them made the England squad when it was difficult to do so and another did later on) That lot almost got us relegated to the old Third Division. We need experience and we need pace at the back. The kids provide us with neither of those attributes. Good post. As I live in Ipswich I only get to watch the games on TV apart from the odd few times a year but when the U21`s came to play at Portman Road I went along. I was suprised to how average the team looked including Taylor. A Ferdinand played well but not anything special. The only player that stood out was Walcott. I agree with what everyone has been saying about needing an old head at the back. Not old as in anyone like Moore but a former world cup player like Sol. It could have saved a year off the youths learning curve.
  17. It could be to do with guarenteed First team football. Would he get played every week at Liverpool ? I pay very little attention to them tbh.
  18. Agree with you Gemmil. Especially when you look at the fact we have conceeded 25 goals since Bramble has been injured in the last 13 games and 9 goals in the previous 13 he played. It proves to me even if you want to say those 9 conceeded with him the team were all down to him which they weren`t he is a better defender. I`m not saying the young ones won`t develop into better defenders ( apart from ramage) but at this moment he is our most experienced. How have you got Edgar above Huntington amazes me also.
  19. I have nothing against boosting a player's confidence. I don't like taking fans for fools though... What Isegrim said. Also it proves how little if at all they listen too us. The other ones like we wanted Rosey Roeder and we want the FA cup more.
  20. Moore is too slow. He is also gone in the summer.
  21. I know, I know, but Ramage's first kick of the ball was a back pass to Given, his second was a direct accurate pass to one of their players, and then he was responsible for a goal. Forgive me for being glad he had to leave, I just couldn't help it. Identical to the Brum game then. Nothing learnt from his mistakes.
  22. Even for a Sunday, that's ridiculous... That is mental. So the fans prefer Shola in attack over Martins, Owen, Sibs and Dyer. OK then. Straight jacket for Roeder.
  23. RB Huntington/Taylor CB Bramble and Huntingdon/Taylor LB Babyaro or Edgar.
  24. So that makes the defenders that have collectively let in 25 goals 6th,7th,8th and 9th choice. So by your theory we need to buy 4 quality defenders in the summer. Chelsea have even been priced out of quality defenders. I`m starting to think we are going to have to go with the NUFC old style of scoring more than conceeding as it is easier to get quality attacking players than it is to get quality defensive players.
