  1. Went to see The Premonition today with mrs hips. I wish I had stayed at home and watched a re-run of last night's game tbh. Shit. 2/10 (two for Sandra Bullocks' peanut smuggling)
  2. Hmmm, not so sure. They could have the new Pele (Berbatov) up against them in the final. Sevilla will put five past spurs defence. Hmmm, not so sure. They will have to get past Tom Huddlestone first. {I read a few months ago some fuckers comparing him to Franz Beckenbauer (sp) !!!!!!!!1111 FFS!!!!1111}
  3. You say that, but is it better than Belfast, Larne, Ballymoney etc ? Nodings as great as da mother country, so it is. Hey SLP, I'm off to Belfast tomorrow. Meet you in the Crown for a pint 7ish? EDIT: I take it that's a 'Proddy' bar???

  5. White Noise and Youga sound the same to me. Kidda, you and your mates have some talent so stop constraining yourselves with this stuff and just LET LOOSE MAN!

  7. Just to avoid confusion, I'm not from Turkestan [btw].
  8. Sunlun are doing quite well, there's no dispute. However, I'm sure Gatesy (and any realist mackem) would state that a lot of their points have been picked up fortuitously. Whatever, as they are coming up automatically imo. (apparently the Wembley stadium people are terrified of Sunlun making the play-off final due to the cost of disinfecting the place after their visit). But, and it's a big BUT, anyone with any knowledge would know that the relationship between Quinn and Keane is brittle, to say the least. Keane could leave that club at any moment and wouldn't go back - regardless of circumstances.
  9. I could see it coming a mile off. However, I hope Rodders and the team have the decency to apologise to the fans who made the trip. The 'performance' was nothing short of an embarassment to them (the excellent travelling support), NUFC and English football. Aye. I hope the lads who went over had a laugh in the 'Dam. Because that mut have been soul-destroying. It was bad enough seeing it on the telly. Nothing like some Amstel, skunk spliffs, and cheap ho's to cure the pain. Well, if one has just watched some shit, one might as well drink some shit, smoke some shit and.......I'll leave the last option for those that enjoy it (t/r's hubby)
  10. Where's the compulsory Fiddy option?? Wenger for me. I read something a while ago (it might have been just before the season started) that his net transfer expenditure over the years was only £7m Arsenal are just a pass-at-the-right-time away to being the best team in the country imo - both to watch and win. totmtyatrotdtym
  11. Narr, we'll scratch a win and paper over the cracks once again.

  13. In a nutshell. Halfway through the first half I was saying that the best thing that could happen would be for them to get their second, to force us to play some attacking football (obviously, to my uneducated eye, their weak point). Unfortunately, their second goal came too late. I reckon Rodders wanted to replace Duff with Zog but 'bottled' replacing 'his man' with the youngster so put Emre on instead. I would have brought Zog and Emre on and took Duff and Sibierski off. The players played absolute shit but I think ultimate responsibility has to lie with Rodders for the so-called tactics last night.
  14. This would lead to utter confusion. For example, NUFC draw against, say, Charlton. WHEN DO I BOOO????? Before, or after the penalty shoot-out???
  15. What about putting the paddock back in the Milburn Stand though? The current stand was converted from that (before the expansion) so it would be relatively easy to do (at a guess). Maybe that's possible, Alex. However, do the nobs want the oiks 'doing their stuff' directly below them?? I used to have to put up with it before they made it all seater Aye, I remember you telling me you used to go to the game in top hat, silk scarf and tails. "Oh, do come on Noocarsel" Only if it was a nice day, otherwise I'd get the butler to go and surreptitiously video the game. Skyboy! Or, what the butler saw!
  16. Women priests!!!!11 HBTY, HBTY, HBDM...... HBTY
  17. Extremely. I reckon it could be a thriller, with either side snatching it late on (hopefully us!).

  19. btw, Arveladze's handball was deliberate (which is an automatic booking) and a foul was given by the ref. If Arveladze scores the goals tonight that knock us out, don't come crying to me!!!!!!

  21. I've said this before (Christ, I sound like LM ) but converting modern stadiums a la SJP to terracing (even just at one end) would be an extremely difficult thing to do. If you imagine the stand without the seats you will notice the 'rise' between each level is around 50cm. This height is far too much for terracing so some sort of conversion would have to be done - far from straight forward imo as the prefab concrete is made to fit the steelwork beneath it both in size and weight.
  22. Ibrox but that was ages ago and it was at the back end of the stadium Didn't a stand collapse somewhere in the mediterranean a few years ago??? Might have been a temporary stand, though (the fogs of time)
  23. I wonder if anyone can remember the first game at SJP and Arveladze deliberately handled the ball, yet the ref didn't book him? At the time, I wondered if he was one of the players hoping not to be booked in order not to miss the next game. Surprise surprise surprise, .com state that Arveladze is one of the players who avoided the booking in the last game!
