Roeder is adamant his side's recent struggles cannot be attributed to a hangover that still lingers following last month's Uefa Cup capitulation in Holland. "I could say `Yes, that's an excuse' and I could make excuses about this and that. But there's no hangover. The players have to be bigger than that, using the Alkmaar game as a crutch to lean on. I wouldn't accept players saying that because you wouldn't hear me saying it," he said. Typical Rodders bullsheet, there. Why not just say 'No', Rodders, and leave out the crap intended to be digested by the idiots as an excuse??????

It's debatable if we are actually in a dogfight at this moment. Personally, I reckon we are. However, there's a fellow with a big bucket of shit poised to launch it at a fast-spinning ceiling fan, should we lose to Sheff Utd. If we lose that game we will definitely be in the scramble; win it and I reckon we should be safe.

Little boy ask his mother what a willy is. She replies that it's the dangly thing between a man's legs. The little lad then says, 'Mummy, what's a twat?' His mother replies..... What it's attached to Hmmmmmm, we can't use the word now, I see

I'm surprised my loft hasn't collapsed with all the crap that's up there With three tonnes of Christmas decs and twenty-odd years of accumulated shite (how, man, divvent throw that out, it might come in useful one day) the place is a mess. I believe that if you get the loft converted it adds a heck of a lot on to the price of the house, but actually doing it would be a long way off for us.

I have to admit that the longer the game went on, the more I wanted the match to end nil nil. I was watching the scotland game and had the ceefax updates on the bottom of the screen and was most upset when Gerrard (or is it officially 'Stevie G' these days?) scored The only excitement I get from Engerlund these days is watching/listening to all the shite/slagging from the fans/media

I think we need Jimbo's Telly-esque proof of this.... Maybe not Jimbo's quasimodo but.... Thank God she stopped when she did!!!

Count sheep?? If you have Welsh blood in you, you could end up having a wank during these thoughts (as previously suggested by Brock)

But, but, but your post doesn't contain any anti NUFC bile!!! Are you sure you're a mackem??? Refreshing, to say the least. (welcomen [btw])

Brilliant. Christ, how much would he be worth today?

Correct. There was no contact. Shearer showed how hard he really is in that incident. He just stood eyeing dickhead Keane, willing him to try his luck. Keane bottled it and did the usual thing soft shites do and shouted and bawled whilst being 'restrained' by a team-mate. Keane = soft as shite.

I was listening to a radio interview with either Steve Gibson or Keith (?) Lamb a while ago and getting the distinct impression there was little love lost from the Boro hierachy towards McClaren.

Jade Goody, basically

Well, we are going to find out in the summer. If there was cash available, then there should be an even bigger pot to spend in the close season. I will be waiting to be pleasantly surprised and use the phrase *in mock european accent* 'My, Mr Rodders, with all these great players you are really spoiling us!'

Close, but my text used the word AWESOME!!!!111

Let's get my thoughts on Rodders out of the way first. I don't think he's the right man for NUFC. I don't think he can motivate the team or get them playing with any degree of excitement. But, if he has the balls to say 'Fuck it, I'm not buying x because I don't think he's good enough, regardless of our squad being close to the bones' then he has shown he has a bit of gumption about him - reagardless of how good we think he ultimately is.
-
Fuckin' hell, Dr Ken, you're as bad as the Celtic supporters going to Seville!! The cost was £750m.

Hmmm, interesting reading. Rodders is confirming that there was money available in the window but he didn't want to buy what was available. He says he is taking a gamble on his job with this decision not to buy anyone. That sentence could also be easily written as 'I've taken a gamble with NUFC' which is, ultimately, the main consideration. However, I have to say that he has gone up a few notches in my estimation for being so brave, as I don't want to see dross brought in just for the sake of it. I hope it works out for him but only time will tell. Or alternatively I f*cked up and ran around like a headless chicken and went to see people a million times and by the time I made my decision it was too late. Like in games where I can see we are crap but can't make up my mind until I put subs on 7 minutes from time. For every ying, there's a yang!

On satdee, the only thing I missed from the old stadium was the players walking onto the pitch from one end instead of the usual half way line tunnel. That was something really class imo (the crowd shouting/singing/applauding whilst the teams walked to the half way line) and I just wish it could be the same now

I reckon if the club continues the way it's going and Glenn has to be given the boot the reasoning will be that Roeder was a good appointment because we had to get rid of Souness and the only other alternatives were Steve Bruce or Martin O'Neil and appointing either of them or keeping Graeme would have resulted in us ending up in the conference, hence by comparison it was an excellent appointment in spite of having to watch shite football and languishing in the lower reaches and thus Freddy should stay. I think I've been consistant on this (someone can go and check ) but Portly Freddie had no real alternative but give Rodders the job permanently. Rodders far exceeded expectations last season and had Freddie given the job to someone else, and that person had failed then we all know the reaction of the fans towards Shepherd - he would have been slaugtered with everyone screaming 'you should have given it to Roeder you fat fuck' etc etc

As I said, the burger was 100% shit. I can't overstate how bad it was Escalators to take everyone up to the top levels Then double the amount of stairs than our own Level 7 to come down to ground level when leaving. Twin towers? I had the romantic view that they should have been kept, but having seen the new stadium I'm glad they weren't as the arch is the only symbol needed imo.
-
Some pics from last Satdee. I must say I was pretty impressed with the stadium. We were in the top deck and the view was okay - on a par with Level 7. The grot burger and coke was £8 !!! with the chicken and water the same price. The burger was without doubt the worst one I have ever tasted. Saw Peter Beardsley at Wembley Park underground on the way back so said hello. ps I hope all these pics work as it's the first time I've done so many

*yawn* Following the pathetic attempt at a fishing expedition, above, this thread should now be locked? Bollocks, it should be stickied if anything. I love LeazesMag's pathetic attempts to explain what he has said. Your reasoning does have some merit, I must admit
