Apparently Ba was asked for an autograph and did sign it. The fella who asked for it then asked Ba why he wouldn't stand up to talk to him and Ba said he was "tired from the match". Then he turned to talk to another player in French at which point the fan told him "this is England talk in English" and apparently also called him a "black b@5tard" at which point it indeed did kick off. This is via the 'Knees Up Mother Brown forum of which a mate is a member and is from people caught in the middle of it. Apparently the table who caused the bother were a big bunch of lads too so it could have been interesting! Most West Ham fans are questioning the timing of the thing, it seems obvious something would go bristols up.

The Arsenal crest is nice for a centenary type year. Blyth did the same thing in 1999, but the laurel wreath things are far too wide on the Arsenal one. I think the current Newcastle badge is very nice, best left alone.

Pardew is playing Hughton's team though.. I think the stats needed for a fair comparison would be endless, such as money spent comparative spending of other teams and of course the actual teams played in those games compared! All in all I have a lot of respect for Hughton, but very little for Pardew!

Probably just simple laziness, they watch (as in go to the ground not on TV) most of their matches near the office i.e. in London. Inevitably they will be repeatedly impressed by players they see more often. For what its worth though (forgetting any Newcastle connection) Scott Parker has been superb this season. West Ham would most certainly be long gone without him.

Not true! Great servants of a club always get respect or applause. Owen got abuse for the many many reasons quoted above, including the million pound a goal salary!

Who knows it may actually help him, if his attitude is a problem a few trips to conference North grounds might wake him up to what he's in for if he doesn't apply himself. However I honestly think he'll make the grade in the premiership or there abouts, but inevitably once he's sold/released.

I remember hearing that Ranger was very nearly loaned to Blyth 2 seasons ago. Now that would be nice to see, I think he's got a lot of talent and it really is crazy to judge him on what has been seen of him in the 1st team so far. Go on fat Mike, loan him to Blyth!
