Theoretically, could any of us clowns "make an offer for a player" ? I could email a contractual offer to the potential selling club saying "we hereby write to confirm our promise to pay the selling club *the steam off our fucking shit* for player X" The only difference between their and my offer being credible is that mine mightn't make it into the public domain given I haven't got the resources and contacts to make it so by employing media consultants .
