I didn't have known about any of those details until Gemmill posted them a while ago. Still I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else, seems no one bothers to report it to the public as its got little mainstream attention.

You just need to look at our international manager too! He went to Liverpool and failed and hasn't done anything in recent years of note but he gets the job because he' steady. Just look at our expectations going into tournaments, we look to get to the quarters or semis and barely or ever get there. No other big country would look to do that, they all look to win it because what's the point in getting 4th place or whatever. Look at the managers they've got too, Spain, France, Germany etc, all good coaches but we're just happy to be okay and have no desire to be anything better andthe same is happening in the prem.

I think English football in general strives to just be average. Especially management as well. The amount of pundits etc who go on about Allardyce, Pulis, Pardew being able to keep clubs up when in reality it's shit. They try and justify them getting jobs because they'll do okay and that's it. That's why clubs go foreign as managers will look to progress a team and get higher in the table and not just survive year on year.

It's a sad state of affairs that we think Hull beating Man U is more nailed on that us beating West Ham.

Paul Clement is favorite for their job. If Ancelotti gets sacked then he'd be compo free and I know I'd rather have a punt on him than Maclaren. However if the alternative is Carver I'd take anyone.
