AFC Wimbledon had to start in Combined Counties, but their pyramid doesn't have direct promotion to division 3 (they use re-election like we used to, I'm sure East Stirlingshire finished bottom of the league about 5 years in a row). If Rangers weren't allowed in Div 3 (which they will)I presume they'd have to elect Edinburgh City or another of the big Junior teams, hereby meaning that Rangers place will be taken up

Not really relevant really. It's not as if we've got loads of potential Messi's working in chip shops, and usually youngsters get opportunities in the Championship/Leagues 1 and 2 which are still good quality, if they're good they'll come through. Hell you even get an odd player at random non league clubs being sniped up. The problem is the way we bring up players, bad coaching etc. Plain and simple.

Aye but that top 4 seems to change every few years, with us now having 6 teams who at the start of the season set their sights on the title. Spurs gave it a good go until they crumbled this year, still coming well ahead of Liverpool, a team seen as 'top 4' for years before.
