Yers Mark - Chevies has been okay the last couple of times I've been in there (not very often, I admit) but it just seems to be getting rougher by the week, and definitely more so since the new people took over. The Tree isn't great since the new bloke took over either, although try telling the Legendary Darts Player that..... We all get on with the bouncers and that, so we never really have to be worried about it kicking off anymore. The tree is ok, but I'm not really into sitting in pubs, sipping on pints.

Chevies is quite good craic, but the other week some fella went crazy and smacked about 4 of my mates, and one of their lasses. I wasn't there like.

So when he plays for real he's suitably prepared? because we all know that when you play poker for real money you've an infinite stash. The 500 a day is the best idea imo, means you "value" your fake money. otherwise you'll keep making stupid bets, because who cares? you'll just go and get another two thousand chips. Yeah, I see your point but some people may have no idea about the game, and want to learn to play, and might just want to practice betting ect, and discovering how big to bet etc.

whats the point in infinite money? kinda robs the whole "gamble" element from the game? Getting familiar with the game.
