  1. Oh yes Yeah, she'll sync with my applestore account so that's perfect.
  2. Now that I can tether the iphone without jaibreaking it I haven't found any reason to do so yet. Though if anyone knows of any essential reason why I should then please share. Cool, so I can tether it and use my U/L internet on the O2 contract on my laptop without jailbreaking or getting caned by O2? Mint Have a look at this http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/18/how-to-...t-jailbreaking/ Though if O2 catch you then they probably will charge you, just don't take the piss with the usage and you should be fine. Yeah, I figured as much. It's not something I would do often, but it's nice to have the option whilst on long journeys or for the odd client meeting. I have a 3 PAYG dongle which is for exactly those reasons, but it's crap.
  3. I've not jailbroken mine. You can get other apps for it that haven't been approved by itunes, I've not seen anything worth doing it for yet though. You can unjailbreak. Sat Nav is out for it. Tom Tom have released one for £150 or so. I don't know anyone who has it. I have Parrot bluetooth in my car, syncs perfectly with the iphone, better than my nokia n series phone, which was a disaster. Wow, it's cheaper to buy a TomTom One! As for the bluetooth, I know what you mean. My Nokia N96 didn't play nice with my Nokia CK7W carkit, but apparently the iphone does.
  4. You should be able to put your existing sim into the new iphone. I've done it with other phones in the past and in fact; Vodafone recognised you'd put your sim into a new device and sent you the operator settings via text. Which is handy. EDIT: Incidentally, that was when I put my Voda Sim into my mates old O2 phone so I could sent my phone to Voda for repair. I'm on their business contract (or will be) which is exactly the same deal whether you get an iphone or something else.

Mint I guess the only other reason for jailbreaking is to install apps outside of the Apple Apps Store?
  6. Just agreed a deal on 2 iphone 3GS' for me and Mrs Paws. Get mine Thursday and the 2nd one a couple of weeks after. Starting to get a little excited now (I like new toys). I'll read through this thread fully over lunch, but if someone can summarise what I should be looking at doing I'd appreciate it. I'm going to sync mine with my imap email accounts (Gmail), I can do contacts and calender using itunes; so the basic work stuff is covered. Is there a decent SatNav app with voice instructions? I heard one was rumoured, but I haven't read into it enough yet. Anyone used it with bluetooth carkits yet? Apparently it should be compatible with my Nokia CK7W's, but has anyone got 1st hand experience? A big question is, should I jailbreak and can I unjailbreak if I need to send it back (my cursory understanding is yes). I need to read into this more, but I thought I'd ask you all for a quick heads up
  7. What news? I'm leaving today etc. Are you going to be a part of it? Toon Talk, Toon Taaaaaalllllk!
  8. It's another 19:45 KO, so I'll miss the beginning getting Master Paws to bed. However, thus far, we've scored just as I've come downstairs; so I expect us to be 1:0 up after 17mins
  9. You're right it does - hence my lack of enthusiasm. If it comes off though
  10. Enrique should be 1st choice LB as long as he's fit. If Bale can cover hom and cover LW thn that's ok. I'd rather we got a proper winger, but beggars and all that. Besides, it makes sense if you have 1 man who can cover 2 positions.
  11. I'm much like Gemmil in this respect. Never had a wallet until the last couple of years and enven then I dont always use it. Resorted to it after contrantly wearing out Switch cards in my pocket, they either crack after a while - right around the chip or (in the past) rubbed the signature off the strip. Also, now I run a business, I need to keep business cards handy. If I'm out though, it's card/cash in the pocket only. Phone in back pocket and if I'm on the train etc, ipod in jacket pocket. I have a messenger style laptop bag which I keep my laptop in funnily enough and my wallet goes in there if I'm carrying both. The Manbag (a mini messenger bag) was used at Glasto but I deem that acceptable. You have to keep bog roll, baby wipes etc somewhere if you're out for the day. Oh and if I'm out with the Missus, then my wallet goes in her bag I hate carrying anything really. The day we get our debit card chips embedded in our arms the better
  12. My post wasn't aimed at you Just the way it happened haha.
  13. At what cost though. Shola and Jonas both walking wounded. Fuck knows what was going on with Jonas.
  14. get the fuck in. Nolan or Shola, not sure. Guthrie cross though.
  15. Howay man, it's been 10mins and we haven't had a goal
  16. Stopping the wankfests? Jesus man, this is the sort of games you blood young, inexperienced players in; so they can make those mistakes and learn by them. Kadar's played less 1st football than Krul (and that's not saying much) and he's been caught out. As for Krul, the Kadar mistake didn't leave him with much chance by the sounds of things; and the pen was softly given. Give them a chance man! If we lose tonight, so fucking what. I'd love us to go on a cup run, but the team size probably wont stand it; so we're probably better off out of it.
  17. I know. He likes his bedtime story from Daddy though, so that wins. Sounds like a (Huddersfield) fairytale has been going on down here too
  18. well, that's just shaken things up a bit. Just came downstairs to catch the Nolan goal chalked offside and the last 5mins have been mental!
  19. Well since it started pissing down I'm debating whether I can be arsed Soopafans tbh
