  1. That's why I suggested the multiple shares with different buyins earlier in the thread. People can pick the one they want to go into. It will also make it easier to divide the dividends at the end of the year as everyone in the share gets the same. Looking through the thread, we could collect names for shares at the following buy in rates: £30, £50, $100, $150
  2. She'll less likely to get pregnant? My thoughts: We could have several shares, each with different buyins. If you want to leave early, someone needs to buy your share (of the share) at the buy in rate. People who want to buy in but there isn't room get added to a list along with their preferred buy in rate. When enough people reacht he same buy in rate, another share option is bought. I'm interested in this. As the share price is now £1500, I'm even more interested in that too. Not sure how I can sort the pension thing given my circumstances, but the lower share price opens up other options.
  3. Still listening to Rock Radio Manchester whilst working. The Stone Roses - She Bangs the Drums. Chooooooooooooooon! Might just kick off a bit of a much overdue Roses session......
  4. Rock Radio Manchester. Audioslave - Cochise just came on. My head is bobbing as I'm typing this.
  5. I've not listened to any Vai for years. Nowt to do with the film is it? No idea. As Tom says, it's a live album and I haven't listened to any of his stuff for ages either. Came across it and thought I'd give it a go. In some respects, it's standard Vai fare really. I have to be in the mood to appreciate him and currently I'm not so I've turned it off. Whilst Vai is technically the more proficient guitarist, I've have to say I prefer to listen to Satriani. He has a better style. Randomly clicked around iTunes and so I'm now listening to some old ACDC stuff whilst writing a proposal which is well overdue. I fucking hate writing proposals......
  6. New Steve Vai album - Where the Wild Things Are Chaotic, fret-wanking mentalness. As ever, he only plays with musicians who are also insanely good at their instruments. The drummer is off the planet and tighter than Mike Ashley's grip on the transfer wallet.

    Wee me

    I didn't ask cos I already knew from Facebook He was 7lb 10oz I believe x
  8. I'm still a little skeptical if I'm honest, about several aspects of this but I do think the idea has merit. Obviously, when more info comes out next week () I'd love for some of the things I'm skeptical about to dissappear. Without going into it all now, I'd say if I become convinced it's doable; then I'm in.
  9. I think it's a 4D image rather than a tradition scan pic. Pud? It sure is, have to go again for a 2nd one though because the little bugger wouldnt show his face, had his hands up in front of it, feet up there at one stage oh and then he turned round, licked the wall of the womb and scratched his nads. Thats my boy! Class

    Wee me

Get in. I'm pleased it all went ok. I'm assuming Mam and Joshua are doing fine. I'll have to ask seeing as Catmag hasn't done the obligatory girlie question - weight?
  11. Have you listened to his new band? Chickenfoot are made up of Joe, Sammy Hagar (ex Van Halen), Michael Anthony (ex VH) and Chad Smith (RHCP). LIKE!
  12. Off to the pub to watch this one. I hope we play well 'cos the amount of shit I get off the Mancs when we don't gets tiresome. 2:1 away win to us. If Saylor & Colo are back and we put Simpson & Enrique back in there respective positions I'll feel a lot more confident. Depends if the first two can slot straight back into the pace of the match like.
  13. Same shit, different day. It always strikes me as funny that he's always going to 'invest £20mil ' and yet it never sees the light of day and no one in the press has cottoned onto this. Fuck me, it's the same figure each time too! MA will point out the purchases of Guti, Nolan, Colo, Colo's agent etc as investment but ignore the fact he's sold half the club to fund it, made a profit and paid over the odds for the ones he's bought. We'll buy no one in Jan, not even decent loan deals as we wont pay their wages and we wont get promoted this season unless we're lucky with injuries. Wanker
  14. 2x Tickets for John Mayer @ Manc Apollo in Jan; and yes, I can go to this one - I checked!
  15. I share some of the cynicism on this, but I've signed anyway.
  16. Pretty sure I am. Looking at the consumer unit, there's 1 fuse for the ring. The lights are split between upstairs and downstairs, but even if the ring is the same (i mean split between up and down), both rooms are downstairs so it shouldnt matter. Apparently, the diff rings shouldn't matteranyway as it all links up through your consumer unit, at least thats what I read. I'll let you know once they've arrived
  17. I've just bought a pair of these 200mb Homeplugs as I'm sick of my xbox wifi dropping out/suffering when I close the conservatory door. Also, just bought 6 tickets for the family to go and see Jeff Dunham next April only to find out I cant go So I now have 2 for sale
  18. I've just bought 6 tickets (a block of 4 and a block of 2) for his UK show in Manchester. Turns out Mrs Paws and I can't go so I thought I'd offer them on here first. I'm selling the block of 2 as the rest of my family are going in the block of 4. They are face value £28.50/ticket plus a booking fee of £4.50/ticket (robbing bassa's). I'm selling them for £33 each as that's what I've paid. I also paid £2 to get them posted out before the show, so you'll get them soon after I do. Ticket details are: Block: Stalls Row: BB Ticket: 9 Ticket price: £ GBP 28.50 Booking fee per ticket: £ GBP 4.50 Block: Stalls Row: BB Ticket: 10 Ticket price: £ GBP 28.50 Booking fee per ticket: £ GBP 4.50 I've been to the Apollo loads of times and BB in the stalls is about halfway back and it's an all seater event. If I can't sell them on here I'll probably just stick them on ebay and get what I can.
  19. I found a full free game with no ads which is canny addictive - Boxed In And Monkey Island for a couple of quid
  20. Great race at the weekend. I felt it was a little bit of a shame that a- Button didn't finish on the podium and b- Button winning the title detracted from a good win by Webber. If Button could have gotten past that Japanese bloke a few laps sooner, I think it might have been a bit closer. I have to say that fair play to Button for driving like he did though. He could have played ti totally safe, but instead he went out to finish strong. Some of the overtakes were brilliant. I think if they had managed to get the car right in qualifying more consistently, then I reckon Button would have had a much better 2nd half and won more convincingly. Either way, you win titles by having more points than anyone else and Button has For the record, I think Button is a better driver than Hamilton, not that I think Hamilton is a bad driver; I just think Button is more more complete driver. I hope Button finishes strong in Abu Dabi as he deserves too.
  21. I don't know, you'll have to ask my other half EDIT: I replied before I read all the others. Too slow
  22. Great find Jimbo. Like some of you, I only get 11 channels. Could it be becuase I haven't signed up on the main site? Either way, its a handy bookmark and works surprisingly well over 3g.
  23. This is my view too. MA, by his own admission is a gambling man and given our more than decent start to the season; he must fancy our chances of getting back up. From there he'll look to sell quick, but get back more of what he lost. However, he wont spend a fucking bean in Jan and try to get back up on the cheap. Unfortunately, we wont as we'll succumb to the inevitable Gallowgate Curse and we'll be playing the Tea Lady on the left wing (mind you, my ITK tells me that whilst she's not a quick as Jonas, she knows how to cross a ball). On the chances my cynicism is misplaced and my lack of faith is shown up - we'll get promoted and Ashley will double the price of the club, whilst selling Jonas, Guthrie, Nolan and Saylor. No one will pay that kind of money given the level of investment required and we'll get relegated with the lowest points tally in history of the world.Ever. The only way MA will sell the club this side of May 2010 is if the SFO step up their investigation and he needs the liquid assets to strike a deal to avoid jail. There, I've said it and now the world knows. My optimism is counter-balanced by an over-active negative imagination which surfaces from time to time. Or maybe it's just 'cos I've only had 3hrs sleep The lack of sleep seems to have had a beneficial affect on your style. Hang on,
  24. Not if they have any sense, but that won't stop Cashley doubling the price. By then we will be a premiership club, with a premiership stadium, premiership facilities blah, blah, blah (Albeit on paper). We're over-priced as it is.
