Santon was shite at LB against blackburn, he seemed to struggle physically and whenever he was challenged with the ball he just fell down and gave up Don't agree that he was shite like. He was definitely better than Simpson was even at left back. I do think he needs a bit of time to get himself physically used to the league like. I was perhaps exaggerating but still, his performance was not one that had me thinking "right hes got to be starting our naext league game off the back of that"

Very early days though. based on the one game hes not an automatic inclusion when hes fit, not yet anyway he ran forward a lot and then tended to just fall down when anyone was shoulder to shoulder with him rather than battling to get the ball which obviously the ref wasnt giving him so hed sit and complain, wave his arms a bit while blackburn were breaking and jonas was busting a gut to cover him seemed better off when simpson went off and he was playing on the right/center of defence instead

the odd thing is, after coming back from the death to 2-2 the one minute between the second goal and starting the first half of extra time we lost ALL of our momentum we shouldve had them bang to right, they were crushed and we let them back into it
