  1. "Persons associated with NUFC apart" first line Leazes come on
  2. I could see him going to spurs or arsenal myself hes not left london for his entire professionaly carreer, dont think he will now
  3. I do like mourinho, english football is worse off for not having him in it stirring up controversy like no one else could
  4. Taking the Italians out of the equation, I think it's fair to say Serie A was the best league in the 90's, and the best defender was a Uruguayan centre half who played for Juventus. So good I can't remember his fucking name, but he was a rock. Paolo Montero?? Yes. Absolutely brilliant defender, not that tall neither, but faultless, he was a big reason behind Juventus' success, him Di Livio, Ferrara and Torricelli. there you go! a personality I admire and had completely forgot about superb player and did what I dont think any other modern day footballer would do when fiorentina died, stayed with the phoenix club all the way
  5. never even considered refs, there isnt a single one in english football I respect even slightly at the moment they're all complete fuckwits me and my dad were discussing this the other day and he said he thinks now that there are considerably more big wrong decisions then there ever used to be tv coverage aside they have to start using a video ref or something, I truly dont understand why fifa are so pig headed about using the available technology to cut out mistakes on the officiating side of the game
  6. peter crouch seems an odd choice why?
  7. 5 maps (2 of them from MW1) for the extortiante price of 1200 MS points (£10)
  8. why shepherd? (leazes will be apoplectic )
  9. Had a look at nolans stats for the PL season on season and (as far as final product goes) his last actual good season was 05/06 since then hes been average/poor at premier league level last year (between bolton and us) he played 30 PL games and got himself 0 goals and 4 assists (2 for us 2 for them)
  10. caption under the picture, honestly does no one proof read anymore?
  11. Ive always thought hes kind of an arsehole, works hard aye but is dirty and impetulant I do like hodgson though
  12. the gadget show next week is not to be missed Link Look familiar?
  13. he is like steeeeeeveee geeee (who I also despise) just gets away with cheating all the time because hes john terry, england player with gerrard its diving and back talking refs constantly and with terry is leaping at players with his arms up blocking with his arm/hands and nothing ever being fucking given for it as well as fouling and back talking refs constantly
  14. why would he need an agent? hes one of the managers golden boys and has been at one club in his whole carreer
  15. this one is a lot harder than personalities you despise the top managers are all too often involved in petty arguments for me to admire as such, still respect their ability though players... pretty much all arseholes the one man I truly admired was SBR but hes got the NUFC connection I suppose the closest I get is players like Zola and more recently Messi who just take absolute joy in playing the game you can see it on their face
  16. phil thompson stands out but too many to list most commentators and pundits because I'm sick of the cliches and shite commentary
  17. shock horror sort of thing happens all the time, arsenal turned down c.ronaldo etc
  18. aand http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?layer=c&...985301&z=16
  19. shouldnt have won it, based on a good goalscoring start to the season and the fact he still has a PL reputation his general play is still pisspoor and he would probably be quicker across the ground if he walked on his hands this is a seperate issue but does anyone have any idea what kind of wages hes on? it seems assumed that its quite a lot but hes a MA signing so im not sure
  20. He's got bags of pace, so would add that extra dimesion to the subs bench. 24 games this season, 0 goals, 1 assist thats in the CCC no thanks
  21. football is largely reactionary, you simply can't tell when you will have a bad run of results or something happens that tells you that you need to change. It's the choice of manager that counts, not the timing, but very few are winners in this game, and all the clubs are chasing them. what do you think we should do leazes? stick with hughton if takes us up? will he deserve a crack at the top flight? or say thanks but appoint a manager with a better cv because deep down we all expect him to fail? I would replace him when promotion is secured. As for the replacement, that is the crucial thing, thats my point. If we get someone who ends up not being successful (relatively) then you could say we should have gave Hughton a chance and so the "timing" was wrong. FWIW, of the up and coming managers, I think Owen Coyle has something about him, but you just can't be sure. that would probably lose me quite a few friends
