I think I'm having that hoo Andy, coming from Burnley, you should know EXACTLY what I mean yeh, in fact ive mentioned it a few times that the history of my town and the effect that pathetic, hateful ignorance has had on a number of good friends of mine is why I fucking hate racists aye, its a shame that people come to Britain and have no intention of integrating properly because they want to continue living like they do in their native country, including demanding seperate schools, not bother learning the language, and opposing our flag and those who defend its global interests and territory. that is what you meant I take it ? the exact opposite actually, most of the aggression during the riots in 01ish were as a result of, for lack of a better term, white aggression no surprise you took it the way you did however

Hardly fair like. You should blame the ridiculous selection procedures which in my mind border on 'racist'. But if you had a kid and the only good school around was a catholic one you might be tempted to feign a bit of piety. It's a dilemma and I wouldn't knock parents doing their best but I'd always be uneasy with the dishonesty and especially in explaining that dishonesty to the kids. If both sides can shrug their shoulders and say the end justifys the means then fair enough but it's a bit too cynical for me. It's not just catholics of course - I used to work with a lass who did it for a CofE school and even worse did the "piety" test while her and her husband had separated and were awaiting divorce. I thought the CoE was all about divorce? might be why she passed
