You're a loose cannon, but dammit you get results, I can't chain you to a desk, you need to be out there in the field.

He immediately started editing peoples posts if I remember rightly. Opening the door for...me! This plan has been percolating for years.

I am afraid I don't. Doesn't look like the names of the isolating squad members have been released.

Aye, really not impressed with how the weekend is looking

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Spurs the "big 6" stabbing each other in the back. I'm sure their "no sale to newcastle" policy will stand the test of time though https://theathletic.com/3104063/2022/02/02/tottenhams-transfer-window-signed-agreement-for-diaz-interest-in-dembele-and-jury-out-on-paratici/ -

Of all the places I would never have expected to get a mention on here -
For now...

Morning all, For those of you who frequent reddit, particularly the football related subs, you will be familiar with highlights and small videos being hosted on "Streamable". Well, we are now able to directly link to Streamable videos and have them appear in posts on the board. As an example here is our new darlings most recent assist for Brazil. Happy linking

The guys pass completion stats are incredible, actually having someone in the squad with the composure and skill to just keep the fucking ball will be great

Got an assist against Paraguay tonight https://streamable.com/0yuth1

Aye, one of the things that always made Joe seem so sad was he was very clearly trying most of the time and it just wasn't working. I still don't fully understand how he seems to slip so much mind you, you'd think we'd be able to sort his boots out or something.

Honestly, don't mind the hobbit jokes, we've had a practically normal life here since about June 2020, we're doing alright. -

Tory levels of "owning his mistakes" as well since he seems to want to blame the people he was putting down for his comeuppance. I do agree that the idea of a man losing his job over a tweet sounds ludicrous, but when you're in the job he was in, and you have that little blue checkmark you become more responsible for how you use your platform and he has been bitten by it. -

Can't see how Juanma has concluded that we're interested in siginng him based on that. -

Just googled the guy and it looks like he signed a pre-contract last week to move to Atletico in summer. How is this supposed to work? -

Hayden is injured and has his uses for the next few months anyway, the rest are genuinely worthless to us. -

Burn Ekitike Lingard Marcao All on the list that we are supposedly working on for today. Frankly I won't be satisfied unless we get at least 5 of the above. -

Come on, we're allowed to have some fun with this, we might sign no one but we'll be linked with EVERYONE. May as well enjoy the nonsense. -
Lets go fucking mental

I think this idea that the media have any real grounds to be putting new signings on the spot with moral questions is starting to fade away -

Dont neccessarily disagree but I don't mind a loan. Dummet is better in the middle, Ritchie isn't really a left back and Lewis is injury prone and not that good on what he has shown so far. Having someone who is a left back and can consistently play games is better than our current position. -

Browsing the /r/soccer thread on our announcement of the Bruno signing. Looks like Lyon fans are gutted to be losing him, no one has a bad word about him, other fans are astonished/impressed that we've managed to sign someone like him. It has been a long long time since we've done something like this. -

Van de Beek has signed for Everton on loan. Bloke who didn't fancy the relegation fight early in the window signs for club 4 points better off than us with half the season to go. It must be quite humbling when no one pushing for europe comes in for you from that position.
