Italian and Argentinian Internationals to sign on loan...
Andrew replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
I was thinking Burdisso, just been looking at the national teams and hes one of a few possibilities -
Aye Milan thought so in 2006 which is why he plays for them, hes only on loan at bordeaux and with their ageing side does anyone actually think we could ever sign this lad?
-
why should it? its not like they thought "ah actually I don't think he'll work in the prem"
-
Guti is pretty fast too
-
and for free I won't complain about signing them, it just depends what happens with the rest of the squad with regards to money being made/spent

Anelka and Bosingwa have both been the business this season, don't you think? I agree Chelsea won't win the title but maybe Mourinho should do his talking on the pitch for once. Inter top of da league? by 4 points having won 5 of the last 6 but yeh, he needs to prove himself I suppose when he's won a world cup he can say something. so you'd rate winning the world cup with brazil above winning the CL, UEFA, Prem twice, fa cup, carling cup twice and probably serie A this season? I think the point was that Mourinho is a mouthy shit whatever success he's had. You don't generally get the likes of Fergie or Wenger saying how shit each others players are. As it is though, I'd say winning a world cup would be the pinnacle of any coaches career. maybe so but it doesn't put Scolari above criticism especially from the likes of Mourinho who has had pretty major success wherever hes been

Ideal world, but mind games are part and parcel of top management nowadays

yep
-
probably not if they do it so much that it puts them at risk of an early death and will probably lead the child to doing the same
-
I think hes more of a left midfielder in the way Barry is
-
I'd take him on loan, potentially a good partner for owen even though his first season here hasn't gone great so far
-
I don't think it should have counted, rooney placed it and rolled it out in one movement, didn't take his foot off the ball or even stop it dead

I have an old HD to get rid of, I'll just go and get my acid...

you say that but what did rafas remarks have to do with football at all really? They are completely unconnected, last night was really just another example of rafa being rafa, to cautious not playing his best 11 because of his squad rotation system and it has cost them points they shouldn't have dropped again

surely someone can think of a good caption for whats going through parkers mind there

You make it sound, oooooh, so easy hes a barca fan, pretty much every player in the world wants to play for them so it is easy for them And you're Newcastle. You pay insane amounts of money to average players to play for you, give them massive salaries, and then they never want to leave and you are stuck with a terrible team. Funny how most other teams don't struggle to get rid of bad players, I wonder why that is... and thats a bite ladies and gentlemen

Even more depressing when I read that Boyer is the 5th addition to the Brummies squad, nine days into the January window and they've got five players in and we've got neebugger. Hats off to Ashley, hats off to Kinnear, hats off to Wise & his men. I understand your depression, but what movements (oo-er matron) have been going on in the prem??? Not that many so far, methinks. Give it time, Noelie, give it time. Aa knaa yer reet Snakehips but when yer as owld as aa am ye knaa yer not ower flush wi time left, ye wanna see summat happening before its ower late an ye gan fer a Burton. Fergie said he wasn't going to add to his sqad and on the 2nd of January he had two Serbs on board and as far as I know he has already added a third player. they're kids though, one of those serbs has been loaned straight back where he came from and the third is a kid from stoke who is on loan

despite being fine when he got out of the car he still fell over and rolled about on the ground until the police informed him there would be no penalty points
