I'd actually be really happy to have allardyce, it's no secret he's good in the transfer market (whether his deals are legit or not) but that he's never had a great amount of money at bolton, I'd like to see how he fares with some decent financial backing which he would probably get here I know the style of football wouldn't please everyone but it's more important to steady the team and get us moving the right way in the league than playing arsenal football and going down to the championship ( I know I'm exaggerating but still...) If we played football like Arsenal (of the last few years) the last place we'd be going in the championship. We won't play like Arsenal (these days anyway) so much as Bolton, but more expensive IMO. My point was more aimed at people complaining about allardyces style, I was saying that I'd rather see us playing effective football moving up in the league than trying to be better than we are and falling

I think we'll get beat we have nothing to play for and neither do watford but that hasn't stopped them putting in 100% every game of the season, boothroyd will want to end on a win because it's hard to suffer a season like theirs and then pick yourselves back up in the championship whether you have a superior set of players or not

And (playing devils advocate here) can you prove thats not just down to personal circumstance or even laziness rather than as a protest? There is no use in protesting alone, set out your aims and build up a band of people all doing the same otherwise frankly, you're just another person who cant be arsed/ cant afford/ isnt allowed by the missus to go to the match. I've picked and chosen my matches since, although this might change next year with the credit cards, as tickets might not be so available. I'm not wasting my time organising a protest, that's just daft. It's not worth the time when it's clear there is no appetite for it. I bet if you polled the board now you would get 80% of ST's now renewing on the back of Roeder leaving.
