Got a new car on Monday, finally had a visa come through thats long enough to warrant having something decent again. Course now we're in lockdown again so all I can do is admire it in the garage but still, I got a couple of days hooning around in it before that. Its so nice to drive something that isn't a 27 year old suzuki swift again

We've just jumped straight to Level 4 (full lockdown) with a case of (most likely delta) in the community in Auckland. Three days of level 4 before a reassessment.

We're just shy of three years in NZ now and we're in our 5th house here I'm so over moving house. Fingers crossed this is our last rental but the house market out here is utterly mental so I've no idea if we'll be able to afford to buy when we sell up in the UK.

I started the thread a a joke tbh, expecting no one to bother and float off down the forum but isegrims continues insistence on posting in here has made it entirely worth it. Hes written two or three big whiny diatribes about me or the idea of the thead or some other shit and its just *click* gone. Im not even reading them anymore. Theres a thread where he can moan away and people can engage it if they want and then theres this thread, its right in the title and the OP and he apparently cant /stand/ it.

People are happy for me more than actually giving a shit about it directly, cricket and rugby are more the sports for the people I know who care about any sports at all.

I've booked monday off, its a 7am kickoff here which is a bit more forgiving, but am I fuck going to be going to work after, regardless of the result.
