  2. Exactly, everything Levy and the rest of the dickheads in charge of the pauper clubs have thought up over the last 18 months is going to start being wheeled out now, none of it will stick because if any of it was any good and actually provided them with long term security in the form of stopping competition they'd have done it already regardless of us. The superleague was the best the biggest clubs in the world could come up with and look how shit that was.
  3. We can't dope ourselves financially long term with out it, but this is going to get tangled up in legals forever if they try to extend it beyond the month, Charnley laid out at the meeting that the club believe this move is illegal and we'll continue to challenge on that ground. In the meantime we can just spend shit loads of money because of our existing books anyway. The "problem" is the benefit the Saudi PIF companies gets from being all over our shirts and hoardings will be more limited for...a month currently. This is desperate stuff lead by a handful of clubs who couldn't keep up with us if we did what we're potentially able to.
  4. Man predicts team in relegation zone will lose and that the highest scoring player currently in the league will score a goal.
  5. They're the opinions of people who watch us once in a while and haven't seen the consistent downward trend of the players while hes been in charge. Of course they look like Championship players, I absolutely agree with that opinion, but why do they look like championship players? Probably because the coaching and management is shit.
  6. The bottom line is that the guy is alive and made it to hospital thanks to the nearby fans, players, the paramedics and the doctors on hand. By all means argue that you thinking it took too long is more important than that.
  7. Ah no, and thats absolutely fair, Ewerk pretty much nailed it really. Reguilon and Dier deserve a lot of credit but no one in that entire situation deserves any criticism.
  8. Guys, I don't know about you, but I don't think the medical professionals who saved that persons life saved it well enough.
  9. A new /decent/ manager in place soon and we'll be fine. Add strengthening from a stronger position than weve been in in years come january and we'll be comfortably midtable by the end of the season
  10. Ok serious subject matter aside. The photoshop picture there is very funny.
  11. Aye I just had a look through his voting record. Absolute cunt on just about every issue across his entire time in parliament. Shame he’s been murdered obviously, but not because of anything positive he’s done for this country.
  12. Harley Benton have launched a load of new stuff this last of weeks. Full mini pedal line at less than £20 a pedal, updates on the fusion line of guitars. the specs are absolutely mental and they’re less than £400.
  13. I think that sounds like good management by southgate tbh, showing your BOSS some professional disrespect in most companies isnt generally that well received.
  14. Sad to say but it is honestly non-news. At this point I feel like you're in the minority on the internet if you haven't had someone threaten to kill you or tell you to kill yourself. Its something that is worth having something done about it, but its presence online isn't remarkable anymore tbh. Its like the tea towels and Saudi flags being pointed out as "Newcastle fans" behaving terribly or whatever, completely bypassing the fact that there has never been a decent sized gathering of people that hasn't had some of those people being sort of stupid in some way and when you choose to lump "Newcastle fans" or whatever together when you point that out you are setting up for nothing but defensiveness and a subsection leaning hard the other way, hence some of our fans actually going as far as waving the flags and defending the Saudi state etc. For all those commenting on the state of the takeover, or the state of us, they know this really and the smart ones choose to ignore it for views, or retweets or clout or whatever and it simply doesn't occur to the stupid tribal ones who actually don't care about Saudi womens rights but heard someone say it and want to beat opposing fans with something out of fairly normal football tribalism. All of its just a load of horseshit, not one bit of coverage that has been in that vein has been remotely interesting or worth anything more than being batted away like Michael Martin did to Nicky Campbell the other day. Bloody hell I've perhaps become a bit cynical
  15. Bear in mind as well they're dealing with the club in whatever state ashley has left it in. Wouldn't be surprised if they're still cleaning vomit out of fireplaces and finding new places where charnley has chewed up the furniture. Imagine theres whole offices in the place staffed by cardbord cutouts
  16. Sort of, they were the clubs buys rather than his though. Hence he never used most of them and ended up falling out with the squad.
  17. 100% agree, playoff final loss and being crap for chelsea is all hes done.
  18. I really liked watching Werner that last season at RBL, expected him to be a real hit at Chelsea. Despite his struggles I'd love him here...but that goes without saying considering hes a class or two above where we've shopped for over a decade
  19. Im not remotely conflicted if it helps. I love Newcastle United and have done for my whole life and I don't like human rights abuses. There is no conflict to be had just like I have never felt conflicted about loving this club with any of our previous owners, or players or managers knocking about. "What is a club in any case?"
  20. I feel like Lacazette is a busted flush in the PL at this point, would prefer to get players who have demonstrated in some way that they're on the way up than down. Tarkowski is a good shout and a good player, Lingard proved himself really impressively at West Ham last season, Wijnaldum can get to fuck.
  21. Mason Mount on the Ballon d'or shotlist. essembee seething.
  22. Basically, no one knows whats going to happen. No one knew the takeover was actually happening until the day it happened and no one knows exactly where this board are going to place themselves in the market, hence Potter and Howe being in the mix with Conte and Favre.
