  1. The irony is Ben Arfa is one of the few players to have produced more goals under Pardew than he has undre other managers.... https://twitter.com/MikeAshleyLies/status/478869665439956992/photo/1
  2. Toontastic reader or just the accepted term for poor old Lee?
  3. I haven't got music editing software. I used Sony Vegas 11 which is usually for videos.
  4. On your run now then? I just finished and remarkably I don't need a machine to ventilate for me.
  5. Didn't like the shitty music on that NHS one so I've made my own using the bits where she comes in and my own music selections. Think I'll do that for each week as I go. Here's week 1 if you want to use it CT... https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByKcu35MQu-pNFlSNVVUUnVvS0U/edit?usp=sharing
  6. Me and the Mrs went to Disney Florida 4 years back without any kids. The rides are poor for two thirty something's but it was the best theme park of the trip for the fireworks display alone. You have to stay for them. Unbelievable stuff.
  7. I think a lot of people are boycotting off the back of this, but in my view anyone that doesn't consider captivity cruel before they see the film is not thinking it through. I think it's a contradiction to boycott Seaworld for the whales but then go to Animal Kingdom for the Monkeys or Busch Gardens (owned by Seaworld) or the waterparks that house dophins in pools that waterslides go through. The controversy only seems to get more attention off the back of the human cost, a couple of people have died as opposed to the thousands of animals that die in captivity in every other park around the world. As a meat eating, zoo-goer i have some conflict about perpetuating the cruelty, but until it stops me going to all parks i doubt it would stop me going to one. Anyway, this has put a downer on your happy day. Ignore this conversation and enjoy thinking about watching the fireworks in your Mickey Mouse ears.
  8. The dolphins do somersaults man....and people stand on their heads
  9. I had none of the cruelty reservations about going to Seaworld at the time, but when I was there I just found it weird as fuck. Massive military vibe around the place. Kids being encouraged to join the army and if they say they want to be a soldier then they get to meet Shamu, round of applause for any service people that stand up before a show, all that kind of thing. I enjoyed Homossasa springs more, far smaller without any big shows or rides, but 'seems' much more of a natural habitat. Probably a bit out of the way from Tampa like, we were in Brooksville so it was convenient.
  10. Did you get an email reminding you to renew? Yet in May they were saying only 6% haven't renewed and that's in line with the usual drop off. All lies.
  11. Best day to book flights is supposedly 34 days before you fly. ...and travel on a Tuesday/Wednesday. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2220223/Want-save-money-international-flight-Book-34-days-departure-make-sure-leave-Tuesday.html
  12. Might give that a whirl cheers, been looking for something like that. Whenever I go for a run I think I'll start with 1 mile, and in my head the target should be the 4 minute mile, because that's what's famous. So rather than take walking breaks I end up pushing myslef to try and do a good time without stopping. I still struggle to come in under 9 minutes and I finish at a crawl, when I'm done I feel like I need to sick my ribcage out and the pain is enough to remind me not to be so silly as to consider running for another year or so. Don't think my irregular 3 mile bike rides to work are enough to combat the Chocolate oranges and beer though.
  13. Angry punk song for the dumped with a catchy pop refrain. Marvellous.
  14. Dickhead piled a stolen Taxi into a parked car on my road. I jumped up and saw him fleeing. So when the police arrived I told them which direction he went. They got me in their car and driving around at 70 in a 30 zone trying to find him.

  16. Exhausted. After the world cup I was out in a police car chasing a violent criminal Startskey and Hutch style. Think it might have been this bloke... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/robber-believed-wielding-kitchen-knife-7268571 Whoever it was they crashed a stolen taxi 100 yards from my house at 3.45am and made off.

No. Saw a Jawa one or something and remarked on it once donkeys ago.
  18. Un fucking credible that like. As you age and you build your back catalogue, less and less frequently do you hear a song/album which instantly blows you away. If it happens to me these days it only happens to this extent with Jazz. These, BBNG and Colin Stetson have pleased me more than anything these last few years. Any other recommendations like that would be greatly appreciated. Still cannit get away with Miles Davis like.

That relies on me actually telling them what to buy me though. I'm not against that, I'll sometimes do a wishlist because I prefer gifts to cash generally, but I do tend to buy what i want so difficult to come up with anything. All i could say was the chromecast.

Some of it was off scratchcards from aunties, but my mam, dad in laws and granny all went with cash. That and my change jar will pay for my season ticket.
