Wonder what the people who'd written him off after 2-3 games think of him now.

Newcastle United v Man City Saturday 15th

Man City "eased to victory", were "stylish", "classy" and "dynamic going forward". Nothing about our performance. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20650218 -

Yup, it's simultaneously as disappointing yet uplifting as a 3-1 defeat can get. -
Spot on attitude towards the game, works his little socks off.

That third goal was so disappointing, and unquestionably harsh on us. I think a draw would have been a fair result. But then I said the same after Fulham. We need to make our chances count, like the opposition are doing to us. -

It isn't though, we look to pass in spells of games. Usually in the first half, before Pardew loses patience and we go mroe direct.

As much as Fulham are a 'friendly' club (inoffensive, at least), with a lovely iconic stadium... I don't think I've ever been to an away match and heard such a quiet home crowd (including the last time I went to Craven Cottage about a decade ago, but that was a 3pm kick-off). They had the odd half-hearted chant but only seemed to make any real noise/stand up when they scored or had a decision go against them. On the flipside our lot made plenty of noise from first to last, and naturally the away numbers would have swelled a little bit because of the neutral end being packed with Toon fans. Great away atmosphere.

Are you implying that you want us to lose?

Has Shola scored that many in his career?

This. Big difference. Hospitals aren't the sort of place to do this sort of thing.
