Some of the players in that list are technically released but are likely to stay with their clubs, they're just working on deals for them iirc (like Pogrebnyak). Must have been watching a different player to me. I know a lot of Chelsea fans don't rate him. He'd want big wages too.

Yes, he said on his Twitter account that his people were working on a new deal to stay at the club. A couple of weeks ago this was. He's not made any noises himself about leaving.

Of course it does. I've lost count of the amount of players they've bought without having had a manager in place. They're buying pllayers that the new manager will feel forced to play even if they don't suit his tactics/formation etc. It's incredible the amount of money they've spent on Abramovich (and their director of football) playing a sort of Fantasy Football. It's just not right. I really can not stand that club in any way shape or form and I do not like how they go about things.
