That can't be true. I say that because I don't think the hierarchy can't stoop that low. If it's true then this has to be the last straw (how many times have we said that?). They have to go. And we can do far better than 27 year old Carlton Cole.

To be fair if he had gone there they'd be a lot better off. Torres is still a huge loss for them. No guarantees that Suarez will adapt, and Carroll will do well but hopefully not to the tune of £35m. I'd have an in form Torres over Suarez+Carroll for sure. Suarez and Torres could have been one special pairing.
