One of the most pathetic things about this utter debacle is that they haven't apparently got anyone lined up. So now we'll have to deal with the circus that always occurs when manager-less clubs start looking for new managers. It'll kill the spirit we had, and it'll drag on and lose us games. The players won't have wanted him out, and the fans clearly don't. Terribly depressing for all concerned.

Just fuck off.

There has to be something more to this. His sacking can't be based around the last few results alone.

I will not attend a single NUFC match or buy a single NUFC product till that fat prick fucks off. I'm in absolute shock.

IT'S OFFICIAL. HE'S GONE. FUCK YOU ASHLEY http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=chris+hug...ved=0CDgQ5QUwAw

These rumours will probably persist till he gets a longer contract. Thing is with Ashley and his cronies at the helm, you can only expect the worst.

Again. Doesn't mean a great deal and has already happened a few times this season from what I recall. Getting a bit tedious tbh.

Anything by Justin Bieber makes me want to kill myself.

From what I saw against Bolton and West Brom there is no way we'll be staying up if we have many more performances like that. But on the other hand, some of our other results made us comfortably look like a top half side.

This xInfinite Ameobi, Ranger and Lovenkrands are just not good enough. A new striker - on loan if he must be - in January is essential but perhaps the club are just happy to take the risk of hoping Carroll doesn't miss many games between now and May.

So the government are now proposing to be able to bypass any scientific advice when classifying drugs in the future. Another golf clap worthy moment for them. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/de...-redirect=false

We were lacking said supposed spirit (amongst other things) today. And against Bolton.

Guthrie is 23 for the record.

West Bromwich Albion Vs. Newcastle United

It wasn't that he was useless offensively, he just didn't go forward can't remember Makelele making lung busting 50 yard dribbles for Chelsea neither and that's what Chick is there for, but I don't see why it's worth mentioning that seeing as what he did do ensured he was our best player, rightly mentioned by Alan Parry, which is saying fuck all though. I don't know why anyone has any issues with Tiote when there were so many genuinely shit performances from others. I don't have any issues with Tiote, I only mentioned him because he was brought up and because I wanted to comment on all of our midfield. He went forward a few times, nothing major. Just because he's a DM doesn't mean he can't produce some attacking threat, either way. -

I'm wondering if it's something psychological. And whether Hughton and his staff - and the captains - are not doing their jobs well enough to sort out this inconsistent attitude towards matches. -

Tiote was once again good defensively, useless offensively. But then he's not an offensive midfielder by trade. Guthrie on the other hand is, and was woeful. Routledge was anonymous for the most of the match and Gutierrez perhaps put more effort in than any other player but was found out more often than not. Aside from a half decent cross he had no end product yet again. -

We look a completely different side from the one that was able to win games a few weeks ago. Yes we're missing a few key players, but that's no excuse, we simply didn't work hard enough today. It's relegation form without a doubt. -

Not fair to single out a single player, and I appreciate that he was just a sub but Alan Smith's 20 minutes or so were just laughable really. First thing he does is to get himself booked. Beyond predictable. -

Absolutely dreadful performance. Keep this up and we are going straight back down. The odd half decent performance against 'big' clubs won't keep us up. Every single one of them needs to sort themselves out. Not sure how much blame should be attributed to the coaching staff. -
Not getting my hopes up. Would be over the fucking proverbial moon if this is true.

Sorry if this has already been posted. Very informative and well written article. Really reinforces what an apparently diabolical decision Qatar in 2022 is. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/sport/duncanw...of-fifas-greed/ I will add that I don't have a problem with it being held in an area which has never hosted such an event - but in that scenario, why did USA, South Korea, Australia, and Japan bother submitting a bid in the first place? Aside from the masses of money, what other reason could there possibly be for Qatar to get it? The same reasoning goes for Russia 2018 - Blatter clearly has some plan in mind to geographically spread the tournament out to new horizons as it were, which in theory isn't a terrible thing, but makes other countries bids seem redundant if the executive committee weren't going to vote for them regardless of how good (read; better) their bids were in comparison. When their own technical report deems Qatar to be quite clearly the highest risk bidder, FIFA award it to them. Qatar, a country that has absolutely no footballing history, heritage, input, influence. A country that has done nothing for football. A country that paid a French man with Algerian parents to spearhead their campaign because they had no-one of their own to turn to. This isn't even a victory for the people of Qatar - three quarters of the country's population are ex-pats.

Typo, honestly.
