Did anyone else hear Tyldesley shout "Yes!" when Fabianski saved Muller's penalty when the Arsenal game was already up? Cringe-worthy. Not to mention Townsend saying "thankfully" every time something didn't come off for Bayern. I'm not saying they have to be completely impartial but the way they go on makes me think ITV assume every English person supports every English club in Europe, which isn't the case.

I don't think the transponder was turned off, might be destroyed. For the record I think the transponders are fine for something like 30 days (assuming they're not too damaged), any time after that they're liable to not work. As for the floating wreckage, if the plain disintegrated in mid-air then bits will be scattered over a massive area of an ocean and are probably mostly underwater by now

There's about 3-4 major incidents a year I think (mostly in poorer countries nowadays), plenty of smaller accidents though which that show is not afraid of covering.

Looking forward to seeing this all explained in a future episode of Air Crash Investigation.

Watched Villarreal last night against Granada (got a soft spot for them for the former), wasn't overly impressed with them although I know they're missing a few players. Would still love to see them finish in the top 4 and back in the Champions League again (would be an amazing story after relegation) but there's a bit of a gap now. Also watched a bit of the Barcelona and thought they were poor against one of the worst sides in the division. Nice to see them losing games really, got tired of the domination of previous years. Man City will probably pick up a few pointers from that match. Didn't watch Atletico but delighted they won to keep the pressure on Real.
