Anyone else see the Madrid derby last night? Atletico really are class, third time I've seen them this season. Really hope and think they can keep this up and make La Liga a three horse race for once.

Villa and West Brom are more than likely to be our rivals for league places this season. Don't really want either winning tbh.

Thought the demo was too fast, actually. I'd rather have a slower paced football game - one that is more about good passing than dribbling at speed down the wings.

2 things. We put out a pretty decent side against Leeds and beat them comfortably.The likes of Dummett and Sammy Ameobi need gametime to improve, surely the best time for any club to blood young players in like that is against lower league opposition in the cups? I think "second string wannabes" does Dummet especially a bit of a disservice. Secondly - look, I'm not calling NUST liars, but to be honest I'm wondering if what the club supposedly said to them in the forum has been twisted slightly or rather just misinterpreted. The club haven't stated anything in public. Maybe they just meant the cups are less important than the league but they'll still want Pardew and the players to do as well as they can?

As has been said before, the moderation on that site is laughable. In fact I'm pretty sure it's almost non-existent. If Pardew left, we'd have one thread on here discussing that (probably the existing Pardew one), and then another to discuss his replacement.

Is it just me or is Hazard overrated? He's clearly got a lot of talent but he often underwhelms me. Get a feeling he think he's already made it too.

Wish we had another option up front. Cisse doesn't deserve to start. On the other hand, I think he needs a goal or two get his form back, so it's a double-edged sword.

Marveaux just isn't very good. I think I'd rather have Ferguson on.

Going to take a positive out of today, I think perhaps we were two complacent after we scored, and off the back of two good wins. Bit of a reality check maybe.
