Aye, i saw the video and agree that it's a pathetic instance of bullying, but the fact remains that he hasn't actually said anything racist in that video which is actually a tad surprising. Nor does he mention waterboarding which i would have taken as a dog whistle for racism. It's not for the press to make these judgements. And his parents may well be racist arseholes but that's very much a 'sins of the father' style of line. What evidence is there that a moderate could succeed in those things given that moderates are actually responsible for their implementation? You let the centre off way too much with this shitstorm. You guys are not the answer until you do what NJS is saying and actually start listening to people. The centre needs to move left and embrace a left wing economic vision over and above neoliberalism. Until it does this, and i see no evidence so far that it has, it will continue to ignore the needs of the people who voted leave almost by default.

I wonder if they could get away with not having it on there. I've also been wondering about this second choice thing - like you choose Remain and then have to choose again between No Deal and May. Would the second choice be mandatory?

Remain sorts the whole mess out economically by giving us the best outcome possible. No Deal sorts the whole mess out politically by giving the fuckwits what they want and letting them suffer the consequences as a learning experience. Everything in between is harmful economically and won't be sufficient to make the political point that needs to be made. We may as well betray the gammons because anything short of No Deal and they will believe we did anyway. That said i was thinking it would be resolved through a PV.

I'm kinda glad the Norway option is dead since Remain and No Deal are the only options that actually solve anything properly. That said, does this mean Mays deal has slightly more chance of getting through parliament? It would mean that if Mps vote it down, they're basically either throwing the country into No Deal or betraying the public with remain. Are our politicians brave enough for either option...

Have just read that the kid is in court for assault, it's no longer considered racially aggravated. Also makes the claim that they had been on good terms until a previous altercation earlier that day. Now that's the bully saying this, but the courts are indeed not looking at it from a racial viewpoint anymore. This doesn't sit well with me now. Take the racial thing out of it and it's actually not that bad. I saw far worse at school. Did the media have any proof that this was racially aggravated or have they just blown this out of all proportion? You mentioned he came from a racist family.. how was this verified? And even if true, is there any evidence that this kid has acted in a racially hateful way in the past? The kid is still a bully either way, but I've seen far fucking worse than that if it's just two boys having issues with each other.
