Sorry to hear this mate. I echo what the others have said but beyond that sincerely hope you manage to settle things down over the next few days. You're much loved man. You'll make it to the other side.

It absolutely is a genocide, and I'm fairly sure that Russia would consider it one too. The goal was to eradicate the Ukrainian culture and identity in full. I do worry for the world if Trump wins, Biden better not fuck this up.
-
You'd have done the same for me mate, always loved ya
-
Aye, fuck the Tories. Long may they stay buried.
-
I hit this a couple of years back, just gave up on all of it - it's actually quite the release.
-
As I said, I just wish this country could be honest with itself about anything. Anyway, I find that I'm not that invested in any of this so I'm off to bed. Here's to the next 5 years..!

Bridget giving a speech declaring that people have voted for hope and Labour's vision of the future wherein the country's best days are ahead of it Have they fuck. Labour winning by default because everyone wantes to give the Tories a shoeing, more like. I wish politicians could just tell things like they are, futile as that wish is.
-
Voted on my end. Didn't spoil the ballot and went for the party I felt was most likely to beat the Tory. Suspect its futile but oh well.
-
Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale & Tweeddale for me. Tory seat. Imagine it'll remain one.
-
The flatness was actually really surprising. I had heard it was but actually going and seeing it was weird. So yeah not the most scenic but at least I'll not wake up every morning wanting to burn the country down.

Denmark, shifting over with my partner one way or another. Was just over there for 2 months. Country is clean, modern public transport, strong welfare support. Warm, welcoming and outward looking.
-
Thank fuck I'm emigrating from this shitshow next year...
-
Utter bollocks as I said repeatedly at the time. 79% of Labour voters were remain. Higher than any other party besides the Greens. And on Wes Streeting. Last time I mentioned this you told me he was playing to the Sun reading crowd with that. Now you think he's right. I don't need a response to this, I know you're going to say whatever suits supporting Starmer so it really is a pointless conversation.
-
He has not actually carefully balanced himself across this though, he is clearly on one side of it. You can hope that it's all a lie/illusion/whatever but honestly, I think Labour has decided they're running with it and it's dead.
-
It'll be in reference to this: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/apr/12/wes-streeting-defends-labour-plan-private-sector-cut-nhs-backlog Wes Streeting has said he'll use private sector for NHS revival and that middle class lefties are the enemy.
-
So why has he then? Him saying that is him opening it up again. He's picked his side, it's that of the morons. Labour are never fixing Brexit.
-
It's the current headline in the Guardian. Apparently attempting to reassure fuckheads that he's not going to go for it in any theoretical second term either.
-
Starmer doing his best to ensure that I don't vote for him tomorrow by saying we'll never rejoin the EU in his lifetime. SNP it is.

I can't remember how it was in previous tournaments now but it seems obvious that Southgate has no system or playstyle other than a vague leaning towards safe possession. He is completely reliant on moments of individual brilliance from very good players, and that is hurting us. Players like Foden are used to working in a well drilled and well planned system to achieve things, he would normally know where he's meant to be at all times. With Southgate I don't think anyone knows where they're meant to be all over the pitch. We need an actual manager after this, someone with a style of play and a vision for implementing it. Who will pick players to suit that style of play. Last night has just about killed my interest in this now. I barely cared when we equalised, very similar view to Alex on it - wasn't deserved.
-
Keeping Isak is worth more than the c.6 points we'd be deducted for missing it anyway. I continue to believe its very unlikely the club don't have some sort of plan in place around this.
-
We're in trouble with this. This clamour for Democrats now to pick someone else... I mean it's not going to happen is it? There isn't time for them to get someone bedded into the public consciousness quick enough. How much longer do we have to put up with these selfish old people sacrificing the rest of us for their stupid egos. Biden is 80 ffs. It is ludicrous that they've allowed him to go this long.
-
Well said.
-
Only temporary though apparently. Guardian reporting his wife is heavily pregnant so it could just be that. I'm sure Southgate will find some way not to play Gordon whether Foden is here or not.
-
Southgate is a fucking bellend.
