I think it's more that I genuinely suspect that's what they're thinking And looking at it from a business perspective, I wouldn't bet on them winning that game in any capacity. I suspect the reason is that they know we'd send loads down if they made it available, and that if we do, they're more likely to lose. What they haven't appreciated is that they'll lose either way, and so they may as well make as much as they can.

The ideal run of results for us would be for Hull to beat Sunderland in their upcoming game, and then for us to beat Hull. They'd have nowhere to go after that.

Yeah that is what it seems like, but how are the Tories going to be able to spin that? What do they come out and say? The EU isn't going to give us single market access without freedom of movement so how are the Tories going to be able to go back to the voters and say that they've delivered?

I hope he comes good in the end. I think he could make the step back up into the PL, he just needs a run of games to get into the flow of things. That said, if it's not going to work, we'll know by the end of the season. I could definitely see a PL team like West Brom or someone picking him up if we don't want him.
