I expect to be ridiculed. Anyone who thinks differently to the accepted norm is ridiculed. I'm not bothered about being ridiculed as I know there's plenty in the queue to do that. I'm interested in people having a view of their own. Basically anyone who decides to at least look at it all differently, even if it's just for the sake of it to see if all what we are told really makes sense. I believe it doesn't make sense on a lot of fronts.

I can't physically prove my claims no more than you can physically prove the Earth is a rotating globe. I think we can agree on that. Anyone can dismiss what I think, as it's against the grain and all the global work has been done. It's been documented over a long long time and fine tuned where errors came about. If I was in court my case would be thrown out...because the odds would be severely stacked against me. The point isn't to tell anyone I'm correct. The point is to see who has the mind to question what they have been told. If people don't want to and are fully happy with everything they were told, then no problem. There's many that do like to question, including myself, obviously. I believe the Earth is a sort of sphere, except we don't live on it, we live in it. We live under a huge ice dome that makes up half the sphere. The bottom half is solid, plus oceans, so basically is slightly concave which the oceans sit in. All the stuff you see in the sky is in our atmosphere, not in space as we are told. This is my thoughts.
-
I don't know exactly the full reason as to why they would trick us, because this globe stuff started a long long time ago, so I can only speculate on their reasons. Maybe it was sun worship or something like that in those times, as in those higher up at the time believed in a sun god, so made the sun as the centre of the universe kind of thing, making out that Earth is just a piddly little planet orbiting it. Many people of early times thought the Earth was flat and experiments were made to prove it, just as experiments were made to disprove it, to say it's a globe, so there's a conflict of thoughts. Let's be honest; we know what religion creates among the entire world, with beliefs in this and that or one extreme to the other. Which one is correct, or are they all correct, or all wrong? I'm not religious in any way but I won't tell someone that theya re wrong if they believe, as I don't know what's what, just as I don't know for certain what we live on in terms of shape. I can make my own assumptions, which I have done. It doesn't mean I'm correct, yet it doesn't mean I'm wrong, either. I admit one thing. It takes a hell of a lot to even make a person look differently at stuff they were brought up and schooled into. I well understand how hard it would be for anyone to even think differently. Let's take gravity as a starting point. What is it? Nobody actually knows what it is. Scientists tell us that it makes things fall and makes planets pull on one another and such like. They cannot tell us what it actually is as a force. Gravity, as far as I'm concerned is atmospheric pressure. Atmospheric pressure explains everything about Earth and happenings if people can put their mind to it and not be distracted by gravity.
-
There's loads I agree with or don't question. I simply don't agree with the globe model we have been conditioned to believe. As I said before; scientists can't explain a lot of what they churn out to us with regards to this stuff. We simply have to believe what's said.

Of course the greatest minds in existence have supposedly known the Earth is a sphere. I mean, we are all told this...but how do we really know for sure? Yeah I know it's laughable and easy for anyone to say, "because everyone knows it's a sphere for long enough" or " the calculations are all there to prove it." I understand how taking an alternative view on it can be brushed aside because it supposedly requires caluclations in the science world to be taken seriously. I'm not after promoting it to the science world for peer review, I'm simply saying that I don't believe it's what they tell us it is. I ask any of you how you know we live on a rotating ball. Seriously, what makes you think that and what proof, physically do you have that it is what they tell us it is? Nobody knows what gravity is but we all have to accept that it exists as a force. Why?...because it's the only way they can explain the Earth and planets acting the way they do. I'm a free thinker, Fish. It doesn't mean my thinking is bang on or anything like that. It just means I have alternative thoughts and I don't swallow what's offered to me after looking over it all. I used to. I was like everyone else where I simply just accepted what was said as true...never thinking to question it. Free thinking to me is simply being able to think outside the box and not feeling like I have to follow the crowd, like most do if you think about it. We get shown pictures of a marble like Earth from space, supposedly. That's all some people need to verify we live on a ball. It's not like I'm gonna walk about with a placard declaring what I think. I just wondered if anyone had alternative views to what they were told on it all.

I don't know really. I mean, I thought there was more than enough posters that may have had a take on things, alternate to what we were all indoctrinated with: but it seems not, which is why I deleted the post. It's fine, I'm ok with it. I just thought it would bring some free minds into the post but I see it's just the usuals who mock. No bother, I'm away. Ban me, I won't be bothering again.

I just thought wirth this part of the Newcastle forum being the CHAT section, it didn't involve Newcastle. You know, with not a lot to say about things Newcastle at the minute, I thought a bit of chat added , might gain a bit of interest with some. Obviously I was wrong.

Does it seem logical to anyone that we walk about on a sphere with oceans all around us, rotating at around 1038 mph at the equator and spinning around a centralised 1000,000+ km diameter sun? I know what we were all schooled with: but does it really seem logical when you actually think about it? To understand what I'm saying; think about yourself stood on the ground. You are moving at over 1000 mph, yet you do not feel any movement. Your body's senses do not detect any imbalance, yet all you see is a sun, stars, moon, etc moving slowly over the sky. Apparently our Earth is 24,900 miles in circumference and is not a perfect sphere, as we are told. It's an oblate spheroid, or flattened at both poles and bulging at the equator. We are told all of this in virtually every level of schooling, in some way, shape or form. If the Earth is spinning at over 1000 mph, then by rights, the air should strip our bodies of skin with the friction , or we should simply be flung in the opposite direction to the Earth's spin. Of course, we are told that the air and the Earth spin in unison and that's why we don't feel this 1000 mph wind, because apparently, the Earth having been spinning for billions of years, it's gradually dragged the air with it all the way to the very edge of space. Does this seem logical to anyone? What about winds that blow in every direction, even against the so called rotation? We get told that because Earth is somehow floating in a near vacuum of space, in some kind of warped space time, or as explained, like sat in a sunken net mattress in space, it keeps everything tickety boo. Walk anywhere you want to. Go to the beach. Look at the horizon and you will notice that it's always at eye level...and....straight, not curved. Could it be that the Earth is not a sphere as we are told it is and not in space as we are told it is? We are told that gravity is what keeps us , the oceans, the planets, etc, from going anywhere. Seriously? Science can't explain what gravity is. They can tell us what gravity does. It makes things fall, they say. Things fall at something like 9.8 meteres per second, the tell us. They don't have a clue what it is as a force or what causes it. Is this because it's simply made up to fit their model for what we have to believe in? I think atmospheric pressure more than explains what gravity is. It's simply putting your mind to it and thinking outside the box, because it needs outside of the box thinking to actually see that it's possible we have been duped. We are under around 15 psi of pressure at sea level. That's one enormous amount of pressure. Our bodies cope because we are adapted to it. I can explain gravity in any way as atmospheric pressure. Getting back to what Earth is. If you look up at the sky, you see things moving and you interpret things moving to your eyes. You do not interpret yourself moving whilst they stay still. If you decide to run, then look into the sky, then you interpret your own movement making other things appear to move. We get told about the big bang, black holes and a whole host of other stuff. To me, they're just stories made up by science fiction theorists, like a lot of stuff. So what could the Earth be if it's not spherical? My guess is, it's most likely, like half a orange very slightly scooped towards the middle, encased in a dome of ice that we see as our sky and everything we see in that sky, is inside of this cell like Earth. Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts on this stuff. I'm well aware I'm going to be on the end of a heap of attempted ridicule and I accept that. If there's any people who are out of the box thinkers, I'd like to see your input. Anyone else, feel free to say what you think.

95% certainty that humans are the "dominant cause" of climate change
wolfy replied to Happy Face's topic in General Chat
To be fair, you can stick perfectly to what you have stuck to all your life. It's your choice. I have no qualms about what people believe. I have my own beliefs and I stick to them and add to them as time goes on, until things make more logical sense to me. It could render me a total nutcase to you, which is fair enough. -

We all get caught up in the news media bullshit about all kinds of things. I'm sure most of us can see that. It's about controlling us and how we think. We get told about global warming and a hole in the ozone layer, etc...and we all just go along with it. In fact, we just go along with most things scientifically put out. The problem is deciphering the truth from the lies or made up stuff. I used to believe everything just about, not too many years ago, because I had no real interest in even questioning what was told. I've taken more interest in the garbage that's spewed out now about all kinds of stuff, including global warming. We are too easily pacified, that's our problem. We are keen to lap up what people put out. Remember Edwina Currie with the salmonella in eggs. It's all put out to scare us, tax us or control our habits. The problem is, anyone who dares to have any alternative views on what's put out, are labelled weird or nutters, because that's what's been built into the psyche of people. Deny global warming in how they tell us and you're a conspiracy nut. Deny or question anything officially given out to us and you're a conspiracy nut. Go into a church and pray to an invisible entity and you are a religious church goer that is respected by your peers. Sit in your armchair and talk to an invisible entity on your own and you will be classed as insane. Strange isn't it? The man in the suit with letters on his top pocket can tell you that the sun is leaking unspent fuel into space and it could set Earth on fire. It will be believed by the majority. If someone questions that, they will be labelled stupid and a conspiracy theorist, because the man in the suit knows better and he has the calculations to prove it, regardless of nobody knowing what the hell they mean. If they look complicated, those that decide to study them, will swear by them. No person who reads science books or is fascinated by science space equations will ever admit that what they study could be nonsense. Warped space time is real, the Earth is sat in an invisible net like mattress and the equations prove it. Global warming is the same thing. They tell us that there's a hole in the ozone layer and the suns radiation is seeping through, warming the Earth up. What we are told Earth is, isn't the truth as far as I'm concerned. -

I don't think we're responsible for climate change. I think mother Earth just goes through changing cycles over time. -
The younguns of today won't remember the taste of food from years ago, unless they go to Beamish , which still isn't the same. The amount of antacids on shelves should tell any of us about the crap we eat. I don't remember suffering from my mothers cooking years ago with acid, yet if you eat a pie these days, they cripple you. It's your body telling you to stop it. All the stuff you remember, like Lurpak and proper cheddar cheese...not the plastic crap. Home made dumplings in a stew with proper oxo's that didn't crumble like sand like they do today. The salt and sugar they sell is not good for you either, because it's got additives in it. I know you would think, "eh? additives?, it's just salt." It used to be just salt, the same as sugar used to be solid granulates. Take a look at it now. It's almost as light as saccharin sugar. Look at your milk. How many buy semi skimmed or skimmed, believing it's better for you? Probably loads. Full fat milk is better, yet even better is the raw milk, because it has all the goodness in it, yet we won't see that unless you live on a farm with grass fed cows. Two days, your milk lasted years ago, in the fridge. You can have a 4 pint carton for a week and it would only just be starting to go off. That should tell you all you need to know about healthy. NOT. I remember when I was 5. I was older than 4 but younger than 6 until I became 6. My mother used to send me out to get the milk in and I would be allowed to drink the cream off the top, that's if the birds didn't get to it first mind. Pork chops on the bone with the rind, that tasted nice, not like the crap tastless stuff now, which is pumped full of saline to plump it up to make it look like you're getting a big joint of meat for your money, only to see it half disappear in thoven< (just trying a little yorkshire accent out). This omega stuff. I mean, do they just make this shit up? People gobbling up tinned fish and fish fingers that contain omega 3, because it's good for your heart. What a load of clap trap that is imho. We know fish is good for you, if you get a decent piece of fish that hasn't been tampered with. How many of you have been to the chippy and got a nice big fish that tastes of...NOTHING. Most of the fish are filleted then filleted again, then lashed with batter to make them look like they're a proper chunky piece, yet they must soak them as well and take all the taste out, because most are nothing like the fish of years ago. I'm not kidding. Taste your mars bars and kit kats. What's happened to those, apart from them being small. I mean, when I was a kid, I would have to take a barrow round the shops for my mars bar...it was that big....or maybe I had tiny hands and I was simply just pushing my A to Z block box round, I'm not sure. They taste nothing like they used to, either. Jersey taties. Yeah they're nice but nowhere near as nice as they once where. It's all this crap they're spraying and all this forced growing. Look at your iceberg lettuce and stuff. It's like it's almost man made. Clean and crisp. No more caterpillars or slugs in that stuff and it's tasteless as well. They plump everything up and lather it in brine so it has some taste. The problem is, you're dehydrated after you eat most of the stuff, because of it. It's no good for us and that's why many times we get indigestion/heartburn and what not. Don't disinfect your work tops, just wipe them down with a clean cloth, because our bodies are being starved of the very germs we need that we are told are bad for us. We need those germs for our bodies immune system to fight against an onslauught of other germs. That's why kids eat mud and suck their fingers and what not. We lather our bodies in chemicals and wash our hands before eating a sarnie. Just eat the sarnie with your hands in a mess, unless you've been raking your arse out or fell in dog poo or something...but even then, it'll make your sarnie more intresting. People wonder why we're a nation of 4 wheeled scooter riders with ailments galore. It's because our bodies are becoming weaker , immune wise, due to the crap we are brainwashed into eating. Seriously, go out and buy the stuff they tell you not to. It's better for you. I can't believe it's not butter. Yeah right. You can believe it's not butter because it's not and it's a souped up margarine that tastes nowt like butter, that's why we can believe it's not butter. Look at all the anagrams of stuff that's basically telling you the stuff is crap. Look at FLORA. Remember the advert with the woman in the store and the man outside is trying to tell her to get FLORA. Well look at the anagram of it. AROLF....plain in your face. AROLF Hitler, isn't it. Ok that was a bit daft and a crap joke and I'm sure I'll be crucified for it...but seriously, look at your rip off mineral waters and stuff. EVIAN..anagram is NAIVE. It's in your face. Peckham spring more like. We buy crap and think it's good stuff. It's basically poison is small quantities, just like your flouride tap water, etc. People sit and eat frigging bread with seeds in it because they think it's all healthy and put up with teeth full of it, plus the awkwardness of the seeds. Some love it and prefer it but really, it's just another pointless additive. If you think about it. We get told that this cereal and that cereal is terrible for you, so what do they do? They bring out about another 50 cereals that are worse, then tell you that porridge and shredded wheat is the way to go. And you thought horses were hard done by eating bales of what you eat out of a cereal packet in solid form. Just soak to eat. No ADDED salt of sugar. Still full of it but they haven't added anymore to what's already in it. The next time you buy your steak...you know that big slab that you cook with mushrooms and onion rings, then get a small medallion of meat from it. That's basically all it was when it was cut. It was just pumped full of water after being smacked to death with a medieval hammer. I've wrote a little rhyme to help people onto the right road of eating. I hope you all enjoy it. Roses are red and other colours. Violets are bluish....buy what you want from the shops and take no notice of people called stewish. Ok it wasn't really a rhyme. Now hands that do dishes can be as soft as your face, with mild green chemically saturated gunge. Look after the planet folks. Remember to recycle your tins to save resources. Make sure you wash all of your empty bottles and tins out before you bin them. Using a few gallons of water for each tin is acceptable if you have a water meter, so recycle your extra coppers on that too and send it to your water company who will be delighted to turn it into paper money before feeding it into the bank to obtain a digital read out of their wealth that they can spend at their leisure by sticking a piece of plastic into a little device. Be right back, my panackelty's boiling up.

No problem. If not enough enter, maybe I can have a team anyway and be labelled as a NP, so if I win it all goes to charity. Fair enough?

I don't transact anything over the internet, so if there's an alternative method of getting my money in, I'll go for that, unless you lend me it and if I win, I'll give your your money back plus half of my winnings and give the other half to charity. Maybe that little lasses charity who had problems with walking. If there's an alterntive method of paying, I'll pay in and if I win, I'll give all my winnings to that charity. Maybe others could follow suit and make something worthwhile.

I'd join in but I don't have a pay pal account. Any other way of sending money in?

If you want to know what healthy food is, just look back to the early war times. People ate fat on bread or dipping bread. People lived on eggs and bread, plus things like spam: corned beef: butter and basic veg. Bananas in those days were a rarity, along with a lot of stuff we see in supermarkets that are classed as healthy. Your body tells you what's good and bad for it, if you listen to it. The problem is, we have been brainwashed into eating what they tell us to eat. They say stuff like, " oh, buy flora light, it's low in this and is full of omega 3", etc. The next few years, they decide that butter isn't as bad for you as first thought. It's al a big marketing scam to dictate your life, which they do easily by scring the living crap out of most people who follow the scam. The reason why old people of today are still going strong and actually walking on their own two feet, even at 90 odd, is because they ate what they wanted and what they needed, whilst discarding the stuff that made them feel listless and what not. We don't do that, because the food that makes you feel like crap is the very food that tastes the best, in many cases. so what they do is, they play one against the other, as in, "oh, eat your five a day" and " buy this because it's full of omega 3 /6", or whatever, plus polyunsaturates in this and that, or calories are few in this bar and many in this bar. Your good old English breakfast has been condemned, yet people went to work on a good old breakfast like that. Too much salt, sugar amd whatever causes this and that. Eggs are good....no they're bad and can cause salmonella, said by nutritional world expert, Edwina Currie. Cornflakes may cause cancer, they decide, then a few years later they find that there's not enough evidence. They have spawned a nation of fitness worriers, that believe working out and drinking powdered protein shakes is the ultimate fitness regime, aided by your main meals, because your muscles get bigger. I'll guarantee you that soon enough, they will come out and say that all these enhancing formulas will cause this and that in later life. Whether they will or not, they won't really know, because they just make this shit up as they go along. When you go to the supermarket...go and buy the stuff you like, or used to eat when you were younger (for those in their 40's/50's, etc...because your body is your decider and it WILL tell you what's good or bad for you if you listen to it and feel it. How many of you eat a meal and find that you feel sluggish? Most I bet. The thing is, that meal could be a pizza, kebab,a fried breakfast or whatever. The problem is, we over-ride it because it's just too nice to discard it, so we put up with the dehydration or cramps or listlessness, etc. There's fried breakfasts and there's fried breakfasts. The problem is what they're fried in and what's in the actual ingredients of the breakfast. Bacon and eggs years ago were not pumped full of all kinds of stuff to enhance the production. Now they're like water pumped preservtive laced body killers. It's hard to find proper bacon and proper eggs, unless you go to a farm or pay through the nose for the proper stuff in some supermarkets. We are conditioned to buy Warburtons bread and stuff like that because people believe it's the best bread. Take a bit of time to smell that bread and taste it properly and you can literally taste a sort of bleach in it. It's minor but it's there. They lash many foods with addictive ingredients to make you become accustomed to them and little do many people know that they are addictive, because it's just food, right? If you notice things around you, you'll notice that Dr Pepper is taking over coke, etc with kids. They go mad for Dr Pepper. Why? Because like coke, it's addictive. So what's the special ingredients that are so secretive in these things? It makes you think if you're prepared to. If not, just carry on and eat what they coax us into. Most of the good healthy food, today is tasteless but we are told to eat it for our health and yet are told not to eat MacDonalds and what not, because it makes us unhealthy and fat. It's a clever game because we all know what we do when someone tells us not to do this or that. We are rebels and do it anyway, whilst the health conscious sit and snack of low fat chesse on a celery stick wearing three quarter stretch leggings and smart dinky Nike trainers, looking toned and slim, yet are probably doing more harm to themselves with the low fat cheeses that the greaseball is who tumbles out of MacDonalds after a good old big Mac and fries. Think about it! If you look around you at the fitness fanatics that once were....and you see them 20 years later....many look haggard and some don't exist anymore...yet your eat anything, drink anything, pill popper or various illegal drugs, is still walking about like a spring chicken. (No I'm not talking about the meth nd shootem ups here, just the pill popper crew and fast snorters). I know a woman who jogged every day and ate healthy; didn't smoke and hardly drank. You know...that type. To see her now you would never believe she was anything other than a eat all the wrong foods and no exercise woman. She's a wreck and is only in her mid 50's. She's not fat, she's just worn out. Yet there's simple everyday mothers of her age that are flitting about like spring chickens, that smoke, drink, eat all the stuff they are told not to and honestly, they look 10 years younger. I kid you not. Todays culture is about the feel good, look good, confidence factor. The age of the young lass or lad that wouldn't be seen dead with anything other than a six pack hunk with a massive wanger or the lad wanting a FIT bird. The lads all take their vitamins and work out using creatine and other enhancers, plus eat their pumped up chicken breasts and energy bars. The lasses eat what they want and go to boot camp . The end result is a lot of insecure people walking about looking each other up and down and panicking about who looks the best, whilst doing their best to frown on anyone who doesn't appear to look as healthy as they look. That's not their fault...it's the fault of those that dictate it all, which are the companies at the top who manufacture the crap and the brainwashing of brands, plus the pushing of the must look fit and healthy society by eating, using, wearing the stuff they put out. Nothing's done by accident, whether it's a promotion of clothes...foods, fitness...pills...fitness powders or whatever. All done by that hypnotic screen in most people's living rooms/bedrooms, as well as the newspapers and radio to force an issue. I'm not having a pop at anyone; I'm simply saying that if you're going to do something, do it for you, not because you're told to do it by peer pressure, whether that's food, fitness, clothing or whatever. A confident person will start their own trend. A sheep will follow it.

Let's look at the positives instead of writing the kid off for whatever reasons. This kid could be a gem and the good thing is, he has cost us nothing to find that out. He seems to have a lot about him for a young kid so if his mind is focused, he can only get better imo. Of course there's always a downside and it could all go pear shaped: but let's look on the bright side as there's been too much negativity to last a lifetime on Newcastle forums of late and I'm ultra positive anyway, about the club as a whole, so I'll always pull positives from any negatives.
-
Maybe.. That's in the nature of mother Earth to decide. I'm ready for whatever comes, if it ever does. Just live for the time and let nature take its course.
