  1. All a bunch of smoke... "we made every effort to have Benitez but couldn't quite get him over the line... so here is JFK who we welcome back and have every confidence will save our season"
  2. To stand by Johnson and his appeal. http://www.briefreport.co.uk/news/facebook-page-created-in-support-of-adam-johnson-conviction-appeal-bid-3976158.html
  3. Watching the Palace/Liverpool match and wondering how Adebayor has been match fit and playing when Cosby (great name for him by the way! Good on whoever came up with that one first) can't...
  4. I thought the best the team played was the first two minutes or so of the match before mcclaren came out... And even that was crap
  5. What does the Premier League Pass offer? In the US, all the matches are televised.
  6. Trump and the KKK... http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/02/28/468455028/trump-wont-condemn-kkk-says-he-knows-nothing-about-white-supremacists
  7. No problem. I honestly think that they (Cruz and Rubio mainly) didn't take him seriously up until he had won two out of the first three primaries.
  8. This was the only one I could find. It was a live stream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Pk5BYlZAlk quality is lacking though.
  9. From the debate last night. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZf59zkXiEo
  10. One of Mark Anderson's better goals. He is the top scorer for the club in its current manifestation with 22 in all competitions. Not bad for a MF.
  11. Enjoyed the X-Files for what it was. Agree that they tried to do too much in the time they had and really enjoyed the Rhys Darby episode. Don't understand why some panned it. There was always the odd episode that had more comedy than conspiracy. Mulder doing "Magic Mushrooms" was also pretty good.
  12. Some major newspapers have had editorials lately calling for the GOP and voters to put a stop to this madness: https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/gop-leaders-you-must-do-everything-in-your-power-to-stop-trump/2016/02/24/d993b548-db0e-11e5-891a-4ed04f4213e8_story.html http://www.nationalreview.com/article/430137/donald-trump-conservative-movement-menace http://www.bostonglobe.com/opinion/editorials/2016/02/22/mass-voters-should-stop-trump/v6qudgMmpU0bMWbDTdQ00H/story.html Can't see it happening unfortunately...
  13. That's how I see it. A shame we can't get someone with the financial nous AND ambition....
  14. Donald Trump 45.91% 34,531 Marco Rubio 23.85% 17,940 Ted Cruz 21.38% 16,079 Even combining the total votes for the other two candidates, Trump still won. The only one IMHO who is slightly less batshit insane in the group is John Kasich John Kasich 3.60% 2,709
  15. Sometime in the 1977-1983 years? Wish I could have been there to see those players on the field... Best, Hudson, Muller. Today's scene is a far cry from those days unfortunately.
  16. I still remember the Shepherd and Hall years... and they weren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination and I am definitely not saying that I would want them to still be at the club. But does anyone else think that if they were still in charge that we would be putting up with this level of performance on the pitch? Would McClaren have had this amount of time (or Pardew for that matter)? Would they try to sign Mourinho if they were still here?
  17. Trump won Nevada Caucus with 46% of the vote...
  18. Grew up in Atlanta. Lived in Orlando. Currently living in Boca Raton, Florida (just north of Fort Lauderdale).
  19. Really liked Anderson while he was here. Good player who would come out and meet the fans after the games. We would sing "Walking in a Geordie Wonderland" when he would score. Shame that he is a Man Utd supporter.
  20. Currently part owner of my local team (Ft. Lauderdale Strikers). When he first signed on last year it was seen as just a big publicity stunt. He showed up to one game but that was about it. Story goes that the team lost out on a sponsor due to him failing to make an appearance at some event. Since then, he has taken a front seat to things and is actively helping in the running of the club as well as making the club known in Brazil.
  21. St. Louis is known for blues music and bbq. Other than that, can't tell you much. Boston is a great city to visit... I prefer it over NYC but if you have never been to either you should go to both. The east coast/south has some great places to visit. Charleston in South Carolina is worth the stop. I always have a great time in Atlanta. I would recommend Savannah on the Georgia coast. It has an excellent bar/music scene. St. Augustine in Florida is another interesting town. "Oldest" city in America (by our standards, obviously) that has a great distillery with tours. If south Florida is on the itinerary, let me know and I can give a pretty extensive list of things to do as I currently live in the area. Hope this helps.
