  1. Yeah, I think either of the (white) women would beat a (brown) man when it comes to the final hurdle.
  2. Looks to me like it is going to be Mordaunt. I honestly don't know much about her. Seen she wants to continue the woke agenda and is a massive brexiter. Also am I supposed to be impressed she was a navy reservist?
  3. Agree. He wsn't a co-author of Brittania Unchained for starters. Truss, Raab, Kwarteng, and Patel were. That book chills me, because despite being atrociously written, it gives insight into their vile idealogy. Truth is, Johnson could have probably prospered in New Labour. He is an utter chameleon without any personal idealogy or ethics at all. See also Trump.
  4. Wrong! They should go for Patel just to stick it to Labour imo, that's all they seem to be interested in nowadays anyway.
  5. Starmer is quite the flag shaggwr these days as well mind.
  6. Has this been posted yet? Quite disgusting.
  7. Sorry, just seen this. WTAF?
  8. I didn't see Pistorius on that but including Johnson was a bit of a head scratcher. Guess trying to hoover up more votes. Every last one of these cunts is pathetic and I think is bested by every member of Labour's front bench. But then we have @Dr Gloom'so media to co tend with.
  9. Aye. I know Cummings is a cunt, but he made this point in reference to the covid enquiry that is yet to happen. Now he's [Johnson] losing power like the snow witch in Narnia, it's all going to come out. Which makes me fell disgusted it was covered up in the first place. The PM should be squeaky clean, not the exact opposite. Anyway, I wouldn't be that surprised if Jonson ends up in prison now his cloak of invulnerability is gone. Here's hoping.
  10. She also says "THE" Ukraine which is pretty offensive to people there, like calling the Republic of Ireland "Southern Ireland" or Eire (if you're not a garlic speaker). Thick bitch.
  11. Now a quartet of photos of them eating curry please.
  12. Turns out every time we saw Johnson in a high vis vest or a white lab coat etc, he wasn't in perpetual campaign mode, he was applying his genius and getting things done. Look, he developed the vaccine himself! God bless, we'll miss him terribly thanks to the nasty EU.
  13. I reckon longsands is pretty top notch tbh, certainly compared to Marshalls. Good ones in Whitley Bay and the fish Quay too as you say. I can see this unlimited toast thing appealing in winter when I can't afford to run my toaster anymore! The bread there is pretty good, sourdough etc. I think price inflation is highest on eating out. About 5 years ago, I'd eat out with the family most weeks, having an Italian or Sunday dinner somewhere never came to more than 40 quid with drinks. Now, it's more than double that, and I do it less than once a month. Reckon a lot of hospitality businesses will go to the wall this winter.
  14. Supposed to be wayyu beef. I've had better Birdseye!
  15. Yeah, but you know, Johnson. Normally people write a letter of resignation when they resign. His speech was just weird, that's been picked up by a lot of commentators. Maybe Cummings is on to something.
  16. I was there today for the first time with the family as it happens. Nice enough but too pricey as you say. They do have a morning offer where you can eat unlimited, erm, toast for 4 quid or something. If you want even more insane prices in Tynemouth try the chocolates, more than a quid for malteser sized chocolate. Also 4.50 for a portion of chips at Longsands I think. Thing is, prices are pretty insane everywhere now. Also in a lot of places the quality of food has also dropped. 24 quid for a rank burger in Glen Ridding is my worst experience so far.
  17. Has he even resigned as leader of the conservatives? I don't recall him use that word once either orally or in writing. He has merely promised to step down at some point.
  18. I would be surprised if that isn't happening in a lot of local labour groups right now. They should leaflet bomb the local Conservative associations too.
  19. The tories are going to rip themselves apart, aren't they? There is no way they can reconcile all the nutters in that party together, despite Johnson having already expelled 90% of traditional one nation tories. Sunak in particular will be a target. You can't reconcile red and blue wall seats long-term, I've been one of many to point this out. The tories literally sold their soul to the devil by electing Johnson, and now must reap the consequences. I hope the threat is existential. In contrast, it feels like Labour have already been through this somewhat with momentum. There is still the conundrum of uniting Islingistas, metro elites, and red wallers, but this doesn't seem as insurmoutable to me.
  20. I was thinking this myself. With party gate it was the lying and the hypocrisy that was the main issue. With this it's because he is a fucking enabler of aexual assault. And he is still PM, he hasn't resigned. Quite unbelievable this is overlooked.
  21. How would you know if they don't like brown people or just have a phobia against midgets?
  22. Chris Mason on the 10 o'clock news there has fitted nicely into the Kuinsberg role. The tone and narrative of his headline news on Starmer was ridiculous. And then it was over to some tory voting slum in greater Manchester to get some vox pops from the gammons. Remember, I watch this shite so you don't have to. 👍
  23. Some credit for the BBC reporting this. Every claim Johnson made on this list was a lie. Pity they don't put this on the broadcast news. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/62071182
  24. "Simply cataclysmic for TEN MILLION people".
