  1. Reading the thread there I see he was kicked out the Labour Party because of racism. Found his home in the conservative party and the racist voters of Nottinghamshire. Shame on the cunts who voted him in.
  2. BBC news is improving tbf, they showed this very chart and most the others posted on here on news at 10 tonight. Credit where it's due. They obviously don't think the tories will be in power much longer.
  3. And then get reinstated a few days later. Getting sacked for incompetence was once a ministerial ending event. Johnson changed that with Patel.
  4. Actually, we've undergone the reverse of what FIsh said about twitter. We've gone from having a fairly strong right-wing presence, with the like of HTL and LeazeMag, to becoming a lefty wokealist bubble echo chamber where poor souls like @Rosco get shouted down for telling us about the SOUTH COAST INVASION.
  5. Like when toontastic split from Newcastle Online?
  6. Why is it so many of these billionaire entrepreneurs are/were complete pricks*? Musk, tick. Jobs, tick. Zuckerberg, tick. Bezos, tick. Dyson, tick. Etc. The only one who I can offhand think isn't is Gates, but he made largely shit products to make up for it. * Rhetorical question.
  7. Latest polls fairly bumpless still.
  8. Why the fuck would any tech conference employ this twat to speak? Surely it just damages their credibility and will put people off?
  9. Aye, this is the tory cunt I was referring to earlier about bullshit bingo. Click on the tweet if you want to hear this cunt's spiel in full. Blames the EU and Labour around 1:50 mark.
  10. Ahh right, the home office is a soft touch and all asylum seekers are coached. Seems plausible. Also, how do you know passports are binned etc. Do you work on the front line?
  11. And not trying to be argumentative hgere, but how is it critical, how are you personally affected? I fully agree its a major problem and will get a whole lot worse as the World gets increasingly fucked up.
  12. Yes, but where are your figures these asylum seekers are bogus? This is from HMG: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/immigration-statistics-year-ending-december-2021/how-many-people-do-we-grant-asylum-or-protection-to The UK offered protection, in the form of asylum, humanitarian protection, alternative forms of leave and resettlement, to 14,734 people (including dependants) in 2021. Of these: 81% were granted refugee status following an asylum application (‘asylum’) 6% were granted humanitarian protection 2% were granted alternative forms of leave (such as discretionary leave, UASC leave) 11% were granted refugee status through resettlement schemes Additionally, 6,134 partners and children of refugees living in the UK were granted entry to the UK through family reunion visas, 28% more than the previous year.
  13. Well, these are HMG figures following assessment of these refugees. I'm curious what actual data you have to the contrary? Maybe you should inform the home office on the true figures.
  14. She's right, they're not all refugees in distress. Iirc only 80% of them are according to government figures.
  15. Ahh well, I'll give Hancock 4 days before he is reinstated then.
  16. Positives and negatives for me. On the positive side, I can only see the conservatives dropping further in popularity, to face a possible existential GE for them in a couple of years. I'll be getting the popcorn out for that one (although not the beer for me, unfortunately). On the negative side, they will have fucked up the country so badly by this stage we'll have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. Which may be short, if Putin uses nukes. Or longer if the World just burns in a climate change catastrophe instead, which will fuck up my kids' lives. Swings and roundabouts then.
  17. Didn't Dorries do it? Did she lose the whip? Have I imagined all this? Am I going to wake up at some point?
  18. Think Rayvin can come out from behind the sofa now, doesn't look like Sunak has got much of a bounce and this is before Hunt delivers the austerity budget.
  19. Yep. Despite there being a huge labour shortage at the moment.
  20. Well clearly at the very least Brexit hasn't helped. Almost certainly made it worse in fact because of our deteriorating relationship with the French and our refusal to participate in Dublin 2 agreement. Also I think there has been a clamp down on people smuggling in lorries which has displaced them onto the open sea. As well as ongoing geopolitical problems in areas of Asia, Europe and Africa. But mainly it's Labour's fault alongside the lefty lawyers.
  21. Braverman actually blamed the crisis on Labour yesterday. 12 years after winning power. Also some tory nut I heard on the radio this morning accused Labour of "being obsessed with microdetails" in reference to Braverman's repeatedly breaking the ministeria code. And there was some tory twat I saw on C4 news managed to get house on the tory tory bullshit bingo game. Labour's fault. France's fault. Germany's fault. EU's fault. "Illegal" imigrants. "Invasion". All young able men. Lefty lawyers. Et fucking cetera. And so it goes on.
  22. And yet this is the front page of the Metro, owned by the same group as the Mail. Different readership, different editorial line, all about the money.
