Honestly, I can't like, they all look amazing to me. And when are going to have TVs side by side at home? I know from videogames, the improvement in graphics over the last 40 years is much, much greater than any other medium but means fuck all when the content is demonstably worse - that's theonly thing that really matters. You'll be wowed for 3 days and then just take it for granted. But fair enough, not trying to piss on your parade, I'm upgrading myself soon. 👍

Yeah, we had ours rented from Rumbelows in Shields, guess the repairs were covered. Several times a year the telly would break down prompting a bloke to arrive in denim dungarees with a tray full of diodes. Or maybe my parents were swingers, I dunno. No fucking remote either. I was hoping that might not be the case now, but anyway, aren't all tellys "smart" now? My TVs work through a jumbled mess of a BT box, smart TV with about two usable apps, and a slow as fuck firestick.

I've still not got round to buying my "Lifestyle" TV cos 1) I can't be arsed and 2) the current TV is fine so I can't really justify the cost. The current TV is a Samsung LED from 2008 I think, the picture quality is superb still but it's not a smart TV and I want the space for a desk so need a wall mounted one. A soon as can be bothered I'll replace it though. I remember the old days when TVs used to go on the blink so much there was a genuine industry in "TV repair men". Now they seem to last forever. I still don't get how when I walk through John Lewis, Currys or Fenwicks the TVs all look bettter resolution than my actual eyesight.
