  1. I remember seeing them but that's about it. Remember Stig of the Dump btw?
  2. The Children of Green Knowe was another one the beeb ran in the run up to Xmas, around the same time as The Box of Delights. It was similarly spooky but not quite as good.
  3. Aye, the text commentary is proper zany
  4. The Box of Delights was really good, aye. Seem to remember it ran up to Xmas. Think they showed it again the next year.
  5. England always do things the hard way. Much like NUFC. Still reckon it'll be a draw though but aye, it would be typical to lose it ;
  6. Did this ever get sorted out btw? I'm on tenterhooks here.
  7. I assumed AH was taking the piss. Funny either way though tbh
  8. Whereas he wouldn't give KK £16m to buy Modric. Football genius ©

  10. Can't understand why Jesus didn't just send him the $300.
  11. Not to say he didn't make a complete tit of himself though

  14. Thought the Beeb's adaptation of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None was class. Proper old skool atmospheric thriller. It's 3 x 60 min parts which you can still see via iPlayer.
  15. Could you include a few more cliches in your posts in future, Gloom?
  16. Aye, he's the crazy one.
  17. Sounds so typically public sector like. Especially the bit about only one lass being able to do an important piece of work Tell them you need a few days off for and to prepare for a job interview just to see their reaction.
  18. And, tbf, you're sad as fuck for allowing this amount of leave to accrue
