  1. That's a shame. The first one was quality.
  2. Speaking of which: http://www.hendrixnortheast.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/hendrix/newcastle.htm
  3. I would say, because they don't have the pace of Johnson and Starc, Broad and Anderson in particular need a pitch that gives them a little bit of help in terms of lateral movement, whether that by swing or seam. So I don't think there's a problem with the attack in 'normal English conditions' but the Lord's pitch offered them nothing. They didn't bowl anywhere near as well as the opposition but I think it's a good bowling attack. Perhaps the option of an attacking spinner like Adil Rashid might help but it's the batting at the top of the order that's the big problem.
  4. Thompers just exudes cool.
  5. Shush, you don't even like cricket.
  6. He's shite like. That 'Well Good Show' he did. Fuck me I'd heard before he was a doctor. Talk about don't give up the day job.
  7. Blatter looks quite upset, which is nice. Amazing how thin skinned some of these absolute twats are.
  8. Solid, solid as my cock... ....was the school yard refrain iirc
  9. Got to be Juan's Magic Mix of Big Fun if we're talking Inner City, Gloom (not that yours isn't a quality track). Had a bit of crush on Neneh Cherry too
  10. Really like that. Reminds me of something else but I can't remember what exactly atm. Edit: bit like some DeepChord stuff but with drums.
  11. It's not really. Driving is more dangerous. I can understand the fear but it's still an irrational one given the actual risks.
  12. They were brilliant, still listen to The Real Thing, Introduce Yourself and Angel Dust. Think they lost a little something after that. I know Jim Martin left and he think he was important to their sound, even if he seemed anachronistic in the context of his band mates.
  13. I think they'll pick the same side.
  14. Used to love Ministry. Faith No More were fucking mint too, if we're talking 80s shit.
  15. And New York House / Garage, baby. Oft neglected in terms of its influence compared to it's Chicago brethren.
  16. I'll be honest, I did like them. Back in middle school like. I don't think they were shit but they're just a poor man's Yazoo really. I reckon Andy Bell got picked for sounding a bit like Alison Moyet.
  17. 90s were my favourite decade for music for obvious reasons I suppose but the chart music was often fucking abysmal then too.
  18. Depeche Mode were my favourite band for a while. Loved Violator. What an album. 101 was a class live album from a couple of years before that. Just Can't Get Enough is shit mind. Although I like Vince Clarke and speaking of which, Yazoo were class.
  19. Trouble is with Bell that he's got most of his runs and has a better average batting at 5 and 6 but those aren't problem positions for England.
