  1. What I can't understand about Team Northumbria is that hardly any students play for them.

  3. Does CT realise the economist and the rapper/kid off Celebrity Big Brother are two different people?
  4. I saw Daft Punk live (PA, not DJ-ing) at Tribal Gathering (98 I think). Absolutely class.
  5. Alex

    Hangovers

    CT in Florita's btw
  6. Remember the one where they fell for the story about a UFO landing in their garden?
  7. It was David Scarboro who played Mark (I had to google the name). I remember it because we did about it as a case study at school for PSE or some lesson like that. Properly tragic actually as they didn't even have any dirt on him beyond hounding him about the depression he suffered from which was exacerbated by not coping with fame. It was the good old News of the World.
  8. I got his autograph in Tenerife about 25 years ago. RIP. I loved The Sky at Night.
  9. Thought the Beeb got their forecast off the Met Office. The Beeb said it would snow on Wednesday.
  10. Didn't even see your list when I did mine. Canny
  11. Btw, what do you with naughty, attention-seeking children? You ignore them
  12. Aye. The people who want the DJs hung out to dry seem to be totally oblivious to the fact they're at least as bad for now wanting to wreck two people's lives by ruining their careers / reputation (and presumbly if possible seek criminal prosecutions). I'm sure they are knobs, they're radio DJs so it's virtually a given, but still. Tragic about the nurse obviously, such a waste. It's getting a ridiculous amount of coverage so I'm sure the lynch mob will get their wishes.
  13. I reckon you googled it and still had to answer D.
  14. You'd expect a quarter even if everyone just guessed
  15. It's some American fuckwit who was spamming on various Amazon forums, trying to sell copies of his e-book. Pure (unintentional) comic genius.
  16. No he isn't. Stop it!
  17. I see Wolfy has published his own book on Kindle btw. Here's an extract from Chapter 1: http://www.asecretlie.com/id4.html
  18. How do you mean 'stalking'?
  19. Jesus walks into a hotel, hoys a load of nails on the reception counter and says "Can you put me up for the night?"
  20. Stevie's like Sanjuro in Yojimbo / The Man with No Name in TGTBATU.
  21. Aye, it's a weird list like. I think it's trying a bit too hard. Some of the write-ups to the albums are great though and I'd agree with a few of the inclusions. And I bet you wouldn't get Heavenly by E-Dancer (which is mint btw) on The Rolling Stone list.
  22. I remember that tour from the time although I didn't actually see it. Honey's Dead is just a great album though. Could've easily made my list if I'd remembered it.
