Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
Alex replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
Rui Costa turns 46 today. What a fucking player he was. Loved watching him and Batigol in that Fiorentina side. -
Tells me they're worried about Corbyn. Imagine a younger, more charismatic and more competent version? They'd wipe the floor with the current shower in government. Shame really
-
I agree with this but I think the idea the right isn't far more racist is laughable (not suggesting that's your standpoint, rather the way things are being presented from a lot of quarters). A council candidate Holocaust denier is seemingly just as newsworthy than some pretty unpleasant anti-Islamic stuff from a Tory MP?
-
Change the manager again?
-
I think it makes fair points though. It's not like there's not lots of other agendas going on either. I'm hardly that pro-Corbyn either (neither is Rayvin, joking apart).
-
You heard the way he talks, man? About 90% of the board are 1) more working class than him and 2) more concerned about the working class than him.
-
Don't know what's worse, you pretending you find that post funny or actually thinking it is funny
-
Has anyone who's ever done any military service used that opening gambit anyway?
-
It's massively blown out of proportion though
-
CT, do you remember the boxing scene in Cool Hand Luke?

Smith deserves a lifetime ban just for taking advice from Warner

4-0 ftp probably
-
So desperate now he’s mining 2 year old old out of context quotes
-
Well the ref was Dutch so it no surprise the coward bottled it
-
I see it's emerged they lied when they owned up about it (claiming it was tape from the kit with grit / dirt stuck to it) and were actually using sandpaper
-
Iirc, he had missing teeth, broken ribs, a hairline fracture to his spine and his heart stopped beating. It was actually a scintillating game quite apart from that
-
Remember watching that game. Ref gave a goal kick. Edit: I was delighted when Italy beat them in the final. The way they colluded with Austria in the Disgrace of Gijon didn't exactly win them many friends either.
-
I thought that book which compiled all the Panini sticker albums from past World Cups (which I bought ) was fucking expensive but it's a steal compared to that.
-
Another 'great' day at CT towers
-
Jesus, it's an open goal ffs
-
Believable stuff from a true champion of the working classes.

The last tackle Also just misses the bit where an Argentinian stands on his shoeless foot
