  1. Will the club just let him walk even though he still has 4 years on his contract.
  2. I think somethings been lost in translation.
  3. I suppose we've got to wait until the big lads come back from the WC to see what kind of a squad we have. But we still need the finished article strikers.
  4. Cheers mate like Mr Gloves I wouldn't mind knowing what this is worth to Oldham sponsoring the shirts, taking over the club shop, renaming the ground. He hasn't bought the club (yet) but the talk is now the young 'uns will be sent there to develop them.
  5. The price for the new stand is reported to be £6.5 million.
  6. If you look on Oldhams site they're building a massive new stand the money must have come from somewhere to finance that.
  7. No idea mate but they might as well rename the team Sports Direct Athletic
  8. Oldham Athletic have agreed a record five-year sponsorship deal with Sports Direct and kit suppliers Sondico.6 SharesShareTweet+1EmailBoundary Park, home of Oldham Athletic Oldham Athletic have agreed a record five-year sponsorship deal with Sports Direct and kit suppliers Sondico. Boundary Park will now become SportsDirect.com Park, with the retail giant the new name on the shirts. A new club shop will open within the new North Stand. Latics Chairman, Simon Corney, told the club's website: "This is a landmark day for the football club. We are delighted to enter into a partnership of this magnitude with Sports Direct. A lot of work has gone into this deal which see's Sports Direct become our front of shirt partner and Sondico become our technical kit partner for the next five seasons, as well as the renaming of Boundary Park to SportsDirect.com Park. "There is a lot going on at the club, with the construction of the new stand and the opportunities this affords us. We have a dynamic young manager who is looking to assemble a squad to build upon the excellent finish we enjoyed to last season."
  9. You'd like to think that wasn't it on the incoming front. If we are to get another one or two I'd like to think we'd get them in sooner rather than later get them training together.
  10. So we need a striker to play in midfield to even things out or Krul's replacement to play centre forward.
  11. So is he a midfielder or a striker ? http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/alan-pardew-im-really-pleased-weve-managed-get-striker-early/
  12. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/mike-ashley-succeeds-last-bumper-payout/
  13. He is slowly but surely asset stripping the club.
  14. We bought Debuchy 18 months ago for £6 million he's still got 4 years of his contact left with us. With teams queueing up for him he could fetch double or even treble that amount if there's a bidding war. Not sure how much we paid for Krul but with a figure of £10 million being talked about by Spurs again I would imagine a good profit for him.
  15. Trying to make the move to Panathinaikos permanent.
  16. The players ive left out are players that are more than likely to be gone Krul = Spurs Debuchy = Arsenal, PSG, Roma, Bayern Sammy = Sheffield Wednesday Jonas = Any other club We were told the club would do the majority of it's business before the WC so they've brought in Colback who I think will be ok for us and the 2nd division Spanish kid. Now bear in mind that Charnley guy said we would only sign one or two players per year forgive me for being negative but we're in the shit. I've even left Ben Arfa in the squad as fuck know's what will happen to him. The transfer window opens on Tuesday we'll see what happens but I wouldn't hold your breath.
  17. And you think it'll be a lot better than that give yourself a shake man.
  18. GK: Alnwick, Elliot, DF: Coloccini, Dummett, Haidara, Santon, Taylor, Williamson,Mbiwa MF: Anita, Bigirimana, Colback, Ferguson, Gouffran Marveaux, Obertan, Tiote. F: Armstrong, Campbell, Perez. Possible squad to start the season ?
  19. Well I think teams/players would probably have good case for refusing to play against him an essential thing in the team doctors bag will be anti tetanus jabs.
