Yohan Cabaye believes his former club Newcastle United will be making a mistake if they offload Haten Ben Arfa this summer. Ben Arfa is tipped to leave St James' Park after falling out of favour under Alan Pardew last season. The 27-year-old was frozen out of the first-team at Newcastle after a bust-up with Pardew and the club are thought to be ready to listen to offers. Cabaye, who left Newcastle to join Paris Saint-Germain in January, is confident Ben Arfa will bounce back if indeed he does move to a new club, but fears the Magpies will be letting one of their most talented players depart. "I have not talked to him (about a departure)," Cabaye told Foot Mercato. "This is a situation that he must manage on his side. For me, he remains an extraordinary player with enormous quality. "It is true that it was harder for him late in the season. He is going to bounce back and find more opportunities with another team. "For me, this is one of the players I've played with who has the highest quality. "If he decides to return home, that will be good for the French league."

I dont think there'll be an issue with quantity as there will be loads of cheap options available. The harder part will be trying to persuade quality players we are a better option over someone who fancies a cup run or a crack at the premiership title.

Wrong, wrong & thrice wrong Sherlock.
-
I can see this being a big problem for us trying to attract quality players the numbers will probably made up with free, loan or cheap transfers.

As a Newcastle fan, what do we currently have to look forward to?

This might be a daft question but I'll ask it anyway. The TV money the clubs are given is that just Sky's money or is that made up of Sky and PPV worldwide ? -

Here's a little tip for you this next month set your alarm to go off every hour during the night. Make sure the alarm is over the other side of the room so you have to physically get up to turn it off. Then wait about 15 minutes (approximate feeding time) get back in to bed when next alarm goes off wait about 5 minutes before getting in to bed (approximate nappy changing time) just keep repeating this process you'll be a dab hand in a months time. Seriously I hope everything goes well your right to be excited it's a great feeling but it is hard the first few months until you have a routine good luck.

http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/steven-taylor-commits-newcastle-interest-clubs/ Going nowhere now.
-
At least that's one.
-
I know they have to negotiate but that's a very weak opening offer from our lot.
-
That's the one I had Ant must admit it's my favourite Toon top.
-
If I buy from Sports Direct I dont line Ashleys pocket so how does that work ?
-
I'm no billionaire but I would have thought we'd have a couple "over the line" before we started clearing them out.

Just rang the club shop my grandson who's 8 has said he'd like the new black and white strip when it comes out. The guy on the other end of the phone said they'd be out early August cost of kit with name on the back roughly £72 I nearly fell out of my wheelchair. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap but I think me & grandma better get saving those pennies.
-
It'll be like this all window then the last week they'll shit their pants and get a load of loanies in.
-
Chelsea are in for him so the choices he has are, mid table mediocrity and no cup runs.Or European football, a shot at the premiership title and probably a couple of decent cup runs. This is what we'll be up against with every player we're linked with if there's another club after them as well.

If you could point us at the all singing and dancing happy news about Newcastle United I'd be more than willing to take a look.
