Gemmill the way I see it both are in the wrong the weight thing is Ben Arfa's fault. The lying about Ben Arfa being injured and blaming him for countless goals against us is Pardews fault. Apparently both manager and player have issues with each other I think it would be best for both to part company. To suggest that Pardew would build a team around Ben Arfa is crazy imho too many bridges have been burned between the two of them.

Last week there was an article saying Pardew was to be given £35 million (that magic figure again) to buy 3 new strikers. Now you'd be forgiven for thinking 3 £12 million strikers sounds canny. But then we remember that that £12 million will have to include the transfer fee, agents fees, & players wages. On that basis we are now probably looking for 3 £6/7 million strikers it certainly narrows our chances of buying quality players down.

I would imagine the clubs blatant disregard for the FA and League cups and European football will limit the calibre of player we can attract.
