He could have said no, or maybe but before the guy finished the question Keegan said "the answers yes"
-
It is what it is take it for what it's worth to some people it probably means nothing. To me it showed that Keegan would come back here under different ownership in a heartbeat it seems like he didn't have to think about it. He could have side stepped the question but he didn't he gave a straight positive answer, nothing will probably come of it but it brightened my day up a little.

Shirley that's not a bad thing with the state of things at the minute.

Alan Pardew – press conference today You either have targets or you don’t have targets, and after all we know that bonuses are paid out – so they must be based on something. And the news is coming through that Pardew has Ben Arfa training with the Development squad - so there’s definitely a rift, and probably a big rift that seems to have developed between former star player Ben Arfa and the manager – and that’s never good for either party. And it cannot be doing Ben Arfa’s confidence or mood any good, to be banished to training with the Reserves – and as we said – that’s not good. This is some of what Alan said in his press conference today: “I wasn’t set any targets for this season and the only targets are those that we set ourselves.” “Saturday is very important, we have to put in a performance that gets the stadium on our side and gets us a win.” The good news is there are no new injury problems, and we just have to hope that a mini-miracle happens on Saturday afternoon, and that we can beat the rock bottom team Cardiff City at home, and in front of over 50,000 fans. Is that asking too much? That would be very good and would certainly help to lift the morale of the Newcastle fans, although not by too much. That’s because after the very poor performances this year, a massive rebuilding is required in the summer transfer window, if we are to have a decent side next season. And the very last thing we want to have is another relegation fight next season.

Dull grey kit, to match the dull grey football, of a dull grey man.

We'll just stick with the scintillating Pardew tactical football knowledge threads than shall we ?

It's what the club needs, the fans, the ground, the city would be buzzing if he came back. The word needs spreading now Keegan's interested under new ownership. Also to those that say he's probably to old, you don't think he'd take anything on if he knew he couldn't give 100% do you ?
-
The sheer fact he would come under new ownership should be something to strive for and push on & try to get Ashley & Pardew out.
-
Yeah come in stabilise the club & pass his skills and knowledge on. The fact he'd be up for coming back with Ashley gone has to be taken as a positive.
-
Wondering if word got round that Keegan would be up for another go with new owners if that would tip the balance.

Last night Kevin Keegan was at Hedworth Hall for a football talk-in sounds like the evening was a fairly casual affair from what ive been reading over on NO. Apparently there were questions from the crowd "and the last one was in the middle of the sentence and got to Kevin if we got new owners..... To which Keegan interupted the answer is yes" Look's like he'd be up for it what do you think ? I'd love it got to get rid of these clowns first to stand a chance. (He's back up here again next week on 9th May at the Lancastrian suite).
-
It'll have to be at a different club then I'm afraid.
-
If you read what I said its about finding your voice not sitting in silence nowhere did I say if you dont walk out you dont care about the club. So you get of your fucking high horse and learn to read what a fuckin' tit.
-
Got to admit 20,000 getting up and walking out would grab more media attention than 20,000 not turning up. This is about finding your voice showing you care not just sitting in silence showing you don't care. Because in 2 or 3 years time if we're stuck in the Championship (or worse) you'll wish you'd done something. That may sound a bit dramatic but it's the grim reality if nothings done.
-
If there's no walk-out at 60 minutes there should be no complaints at all about Pardew being Newcastle's manager for the next 6 seasons.
-
Give the paper a few extra sales while also sticking it to the club via the fans.

Wonder if the Journal/Chronicle would do a free Pardew out poster on Saturday for match goers to take in with them.
-
At the end of the summer window the club will issue a statement "We tried like fuck to get one or two over the line but the bastards wouldn't come"
-
That's the spirit young 'un sit there say nowt and the bad men will just go away.
