Boris "Have yourselves a merry little Christmas & I mean little"
-
Wales will go into full lockdown on December 28th
-
Prime Minister Boris Johnson and England's Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty will hold a news conference this afternoon. It comes after the four nations agreed to go ahead with the relaxation of rules over Christmas, but to issue stricter guidelines to the public. Boris "So make sure you wash your hands (he probably doesn't) wear a mask ( like I didnt in Blyth) keep 2 metres apart ( like i didnt in Blyth) So remember hands, face, space. Do as I tell you not as I do" So The British Medical Journal and Health Service Journal joined forces to issue the warning about the Christmas bubbles only the 2nd time in a 100 years & Boris & his "rugger chums" have decided to ignore them. Thanks Boris at least you saved christmas you mumbling bumbling fool.

This is from the Gov.UK site ... If you are returning to the UK from Belgium, you will need to self-isolate on your return So Boris was in Brussels yesterday & has visited Blyth today. There were pictures up of Boris at Blyth beach with Ian Lavery MP they were standing about 2 feet apart with neither wearing a mask. Also there was another picture of him standing outside Coastline Chippy standing right next to a female worker. Again Boris wasnt wearing a mask. Both pictures have now been removed from the internet as they were clearly a breach of government guidelines

That bit of creativity in the team will be gone. All you can expect now is hoof ball up to Big Joe or Big Andy. What a grim prospect
-
So we have a canny player who'll be even better under a decent manager. Then we have a manager who's a bag of shite, vastly out of his depth & is clueless regarding tactics etc. Unfortunately it'll be the player who has to move on.
-
Bruce could have just said ASM was injured & left it at that. But saying "he would have benched him anyway" isn't really an inspiring comment for the player.
-
Aye ASM will probably be away in January. I cant see him sticking around

We have to remember as well Bruce was 13th choice for the job. Next 5 games are... Palace Villa West Brom Leeds Fulham We need to be picking quite a few points from those games (I know) Because the next 3 Premiership games in the 7 days after Xmas are ... City Liverpool Leicester We could be in a relegation fight by then with Bruce still in charge

Got beat 2 nil but it was a lot worse than that
-
It's fairly obvious Boris needs to get his arse in gear & call a full strict Lockdown. But he's so bloody stubborn he wont do it. I cant stand the fucker I'm probably one of the most placid blokes you'd ever meet but he makes me so angry
-
The R rate must have been pretty low when they unlocked the full lockdown. Daily infections were between 1 & 2,000 then
-
Apparently a lot of shops have introduced a " click & collect" scheme to avoid having to close this time. I was really shocked by the new daily infection figures yesterday. It jumped up by a 3rd from 22,000+ to 33,000+
-
This was from the Daily Express 4 days ago "On October 30, the R number range for the UK was also 1.1 to 1.3, and on October 23 the R number range was 1.2 to 1.4. According to the Government website, when the page was last updated on Friday, November 6, the R number for the UK was 1.1 to 1.3." I'm with you Renton mate there should have been the same restrictions in place as the 1st lockdown. But Boris didnt want it & so in his stubbornness came up with what we have now. A "powder puff lockdown" if were going to lockdown do it properly ffs.
-
Am I missing something here, we keep getting told the R rate is diminishing. Yet the amount of daily infections are rising everyday. Can someone explain this please because it's got me puzzled
-
I'm really annoyed with my inconsiderate neighbour. He knocked at my door at 3 AM when I was practising the drums

https://inews.co.uk/news/politics/scientists-urged-government-to-close-secondary-schools-744795 Scientists urged government to close secondary schools – but were blocked by ministers Why bother having these scientific advisors if they're going to ignore what they're telling them.
-
Genuine question lads what happens if the MP's dont accept this at the vote on Wednesday ?
-
True but that's only because Boris didnt want to lose face by calling it a National Lockdown. I still think its madness to keep schools open though knowing this information. I think the teaching union have a very strong case for wanting schools closed. I can see school attendance dropping fairly sharpish if they dont close.
-
https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-teaching-union-calls-for-schools-to-be-closed-as-part-of-england-lockdown-12120428 Referring to the latest ONS figures, Mr Courtney said 1% of primary school pupils and 2% of secondary students have COVID-19. His union's analysis of the data suggests infection levels in primary schools are nine times higher than they were when term started in September - and 50 times higher in secondary schools. It seems pointless locking the country down if your going to leave schools open knowing this.

Boris will be on BBC 1 shortly he's just watching the rugger on ITV

National Education Union calls for schools to close to all but vulnerable children and those of key workers during lockdown
