Breaking new from Sky PM press conference Boris Johnson to hold press conference at 4pm to discuss new curbs to tackle coronavirus.
-
If you still think Boris is right to keep the schools open this is from the BBC website 3 days ago... The Department for Education said 55% of secondaries and 20% of primaries in England reported having one or more pupils self-isolating due to potential contact with a case of coronavirus in the school. This is up from 46% and 16% respectively on the previous week. Overall attendance at primary school fell from 92% in the week ending 15 October to 90% in the week ending 22 October. But the drop on the previous week's attendance was most significant in secondary schools, falling from 87% to 83%.

Sage recommended a National lockdown on 21st September when new daily infections were just over 4,300. Because Boris has been that pig headed & to stubborn to take his own scientific advisors advice. By the time we lockdown on Wednesday it will be 44 days (over 7 weeks) since the advice. New infections will by then be 25,000+. No doubt loads of money will have been wasted devising new slogans for Boris & implementing the tier system. Which again he was advised wouldnt be effective enough. I find it scary that this clown has been allowed to overrule the scientific advice the way he has. If they keep schools open I think we'll see a lot of parents keep their kids at home.

Thanks Ewerk mate

Sorry lads I'm just feeling a bit pissed off the lady next door passed away with the virus last Wednesday. Then I found out last night my niece has tested positive for the bastard. Meaning my nephew & their mam & dad my sister & brother in law have to be tested. The nephew is showing no symptoms but sister & brother in law have developed coughs over the last couple of days its shit. I just wish they'd lock the country down.

A 2nd National Lockdown is looking more & more likely now. The virus is doubling every 9 days. The only thing we have to combat it at this moment in time is a full National Lockdown. That must mean closing the schools as well. They're starting to Lockdown countries again across Europe. Boris has to act now not dither about like last time.

37% possession today Wolves had 16 shots Newcastle 5

I'm not sure, but it'll be like starting with 10 men again. It looks like he's going to play Darlow in nets I expect him to get tested by Wolves early on. Hayden as well not sure if he's 100%

Bruce has realised what the problem is he said "We were asking the lads to roll their sleeves up. When one of them pointed out we dont have any on the shirts gaffer. Now I'm asking the fans to have a look in their cupboards & wardrobes for any old Newcastle shirts they can send in with sleeves on. Mike said he'll let Charnley pay to have the names & numbers put on them. Then the players CAN roll their sleeves up & give it a good go"

I think the Hungry Wolfs will easily beat the Little Led Hiding Hoods 3-0. Bruce's only way of motivating the players this week after last weekend's hiding. Was probably running a couple of extra laps around the training ground & an extra 10 minutes kick about. The Wolfs motivation will be a top 4 place. Bruce's luck will run out this season

LEADERS in the North East have said they will tell Boris Johnson to "sod off" if he tries to impose harsh Tier 3 rules on them.
-
That £88 million would have been enough to see them through. I bet they wish they'd kept it now
-
Boris proving what an absolute shithouse he really is. Manchester needed a minimum £65 million. They will now get a third of that. Boris said they'd already provided over £500+ million to Manchester. But that money has been spent. The £65 million would be money that they're going to need over the next few weeks. It does feel like Manchester are being punished for standing up to them.

A bloke goes to see the doctor jelly in one ear, custard & cream in the other. The Dr said "he was a trifle deaf"

Greater Manchester wanted £5m more' BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg says she is hearing the government was willing to offer Greater Manchester £60m to support business under tier three measures - but Greater Manchester leaders wanted to push for £65m. Now limits are being imposed and the region will get less than £60m - although it is not yet clear what the amount on offer will actually be, she adds. The Local Government Secretary Robert Jenrick says: “I’m disappointed that despite recognising the gravity of the situation, the mayor has been unwilling to take the action that is required to get the spread of the virus under control in Greater Manchester and reach an agreement with the government. I have therefore advised the prime minister that these discussions have concluded without an agreement." We understand Tier 3 restrictions - the highest level - will now be imposed. All pubs and bars, unless they are serving substantial meals, as well as betting shops, casinos, bingo halls, adult gaming centres, and soft play areas will be closed for a month. We don't yet know when this period will begin.

Boris is Steve Bruce

Hancock to give a statement in the commons at 7pm
-
Yeah he's got a point. But Boris is always saying " make no mistake we will get tougher if we need to" without really carrying anything through. IF he shows weakness he really is leading himself wide open when he tries to impose restrictions elsewhere. I mean he may actually put Manchester in tier 3 yet we'll have to wait & see
-
I refer the honourable gentleman to my earlier post
-
Nearly 2 hours since the deadline on Manchester & still no word on a decision. This could be massive for Boris if he chooses not to impose tier 3. Because every single time he tries to impose it on other regions they're going to say "you didnt enforce it on Manchester"
