  1. Boris still thinks schools are ok to stay open but... Secondary school attendance in England at 86% Almost half of secondary schools in England had at least one pupil self-isolating last week after contact with a coronavirus case in the school. Pupils had to isolate in 46% of secondary and 16% of primary schools. The latest national figures show that overall attendance was just slightly down to 86% of secondary pupils across the whole country. Overall attendance across both primary and secondary schools was 89% in England - but the figure is likely to be lower in areas where coronavirus cases are higher. In Liverpool the city council said attendance across all its schools had fallen to 77% by yesterday.
  2. PM to hold a news conference later today with national medical director of NHS England and deputy chief medical officer Looks like Boris, Stephen Powis & Van Tamms on the telly at 5 pm.
  3. I agree mate but we have to remember there's approximately a 3 week delay between new infections & hospital admissions. Currently we are nearly at 20,000 new infections a day. With no sign of the numbers really decreasing
  4. With the way infections are rising Whitty & Valance's projections aren't going to be that to far out.
  5. Let's see what he does with Manchester today
  6. Sorry about that but the point I'm trying to make is Boris wont make a move until everyone else has. He was the same back in March arseing about deciding what to do with infections & deaths rising on a daily basis.
  7. With Wales & now N.I. going into Lockdown. We just need Little Jimmy Krankie to lock Scotland down. Then see if Boris follows them all.
  8. Meanwhile Boris sits back twiddling his thumbs
  9. Wales is imposing a "firebreak" lockdown for 17 days from 6pm on Friday, the Welsh government has announced. The new coronavirus lockdown will take Wales back to the restrictions introduced in March, with most businesses shutting, and people being told to stay at home and work from home where possible. Non-essential retail, leisure and hospitality businesses to close People told to work from home wherever possible, with exceptions for critical workers Household mixing banned both indoors and outdoors, although those in social bubbles will still be able to meet Primary schools open after the half-term week and secondary schools will open only to Year 7 and Year 8 pupils Places of worship to be closed except for weddings and funerals
  10. Aye I couldnt get PPV to work on my iptv but found a channel on the UK Sports section showing it. Premier Sports 1 HD was the channel
  11. Leaving Darlow on when he was clearly injured didnt do the team any favours. I'm not sure why he didnt put Gillespie on. With Dubravka out until December if it's anything serious with Darlow. We will be left with Gillespie as the main keeper.
  12. At least Brucey will be able to cuddle this in bed tonight
  13. Ah well at least I won £190 on Sky Bet had to wait for Rashford making the last shot of the match
  14. Aye he'll have his Man Utd top on under his shirt

  16. Newcastle Starting XI: Darlow, Krafth, Fernandez, Lascelles, Lewis, Hayden, Shelvey, Hendrick, Joelinton, (I know) Saint-Maximin, Wilson

  18. The ONS have just published this Daily coronavirus cases in England have increased by around 10,000 to around 27,900, according to latest ONS estimates. Last week's estimate was 17,200 per day, and the week before 12,600. There has also been a big jump in the number of people currently infected in England - rising from an estimated 224,400 to 336,500 in a week. That equates to a jump from 1 in 240, to 1 in 160.
  19. It's hard to believe new infections were down to between 1 to 2,000 a day just as Lockdown ended to early imho. Now look were we are back at square one. Boris keeps bleating on about how better prepared we are but did it really have to get to this stage. We could have been in a much stronger position had he just listened to what he was told. It still begs the question why did he ignore the advice ?
  20. They were telling us like SAGE had told Boris the whole country needed locking down. As we now know Boris ignored his advisers.
