  1. Another Caribbean option to think about is Belize. Spent a few holidays there in various parts of the country. Ambergris Caye gives you that Caribbean experience. You can book scuba and snorkling trips from there or head inland to the rain forest and hike around the Mayan ruins. When we went, they didn't make any attempts to isolate you from anything. Can be a fun and adventurous trip there with lots of options. It's been a few years so not sure if there have been any changes in the crime rate, etc. but worth looking into imo.
  2. Any chance that we would still sign Luuk's brother Siem this window? He seems a capable midfielder who has already said he wants to leave Ajax.
  3. Yeah I know, a D&D reference.... still
  4. Looking for one as well. Just found out my NBC Sports Live app will not show me the game with cell data, need WiFi. Very frustrating.
  5. That's what I was wondering. Seems to be a good midfielder with a decent head for the game.
  6. Fair point, and I suppose I was speaking more in general terms. Would love to see someone like that here - not that I would expect it of Cabaye.
  7. It's not as if loyalty is unheard of. Maybe a lot more rare than it used to be. In the NHL you had Lemieux play for Pittsburgh his entire career and then buy them and save them from moving. You had Tom Brady basically giving money back so that the Patriots could shore up talent. I know those are extreme examples, but would be nice to see some club loyalty. To Newcastle mind you, not MA, who seems to be an horrible c***. Funny, it seemed to me he actually bought the team as a fan, sat in the stands, etc. Maybe it just all went south for him with the Keegan incident and he lost his stomach for it.
  8. I'm disappointed. But we know it was inevitable. Hate the nature of big money sports now and the death of loyalty. Looking forward then... Wonder what our chances are now of bringing the de Jong brothers in.
  9. I just saw a video from Gibson about the min-Etune. I must be getting old because my first reaction was WTF?! It has servos and spins the tuners into pitch? In my days, we had to tune by ear and hand, walking uphill, through the snow, both ways! It was freaky to watch.
  10. Didn't Kinnear come out just last week saying that we will not be selling anyone or some such? I don't think that HBA and Sissoko can step in and replace what Cabaye is doing. No chance. It'll be pretty bitter if it goes down in the window and not the summer.
  11. Would rather see him go to PSG than ManU, but I really hope the offers stay insultingly low. I still believe it won't happen til after WC.
  12. More from the Telegraph today....
  13. Yeah I just saw that, nice. Like the earlier vid testing the iPhone camera. Tasty blues chops.
  14. What Gibson do you play? I have been thinking about a Gibson for my next acquisition. I like the tone of the Byrdland and ES series.
  15. Nice to see Ibanez represented. Here's my old RG 560. And here's my latest toy (a year old now). It's a "The Loar" (yeah not a Gibson Loar) 520 VS and she sounds beautiful. My poor Ibanez is a bit neglected. I need to get it out again soon.
  16. I agree, this is how it will go down sadly. Will miss him ... But will hold out hope that he stays.

I've had this happen with my old iPhone. Try holding the home button and power button down at the same time for something like ten seconds. You may not have done it long enough (I tried the same thing. Worked 2nd time. Must have been impatient the first time). Edit: may actually have to be longer. I suffer from C.R.S.
  18. Do I get bonus points if you were drinking something at the time?
  19. Refreshingly honest take on the situation. Have to respect that. Wonder if Ashley has that attitude? I'm a Stuttgart guy. Wondering if they would be considered the NUFC of Bundesliga?
  20. I said it stung, not that it wasn't accurate Cheers!
