I think we've got our Tiote replacement tied up nicely here, wouldn't really mind seeing him as first choice, in fact I would be angered if not. I know we haven't seen Abeid much but he's given a solid first impression, I just feel I can trust him in that role, and I never felt that kind of trust with Tiote.

I'm officially willing to state that Pardew is looking like a solid manager at the moment. He seems to have a good grip around reality and tactics again, and I really hope it's not just pure luck. I also think he is very highly liked by the squad.

You're right, if anyone should go, it should be Willo (so Dummet can play instead of him), not Santon. Willo should only be an alternative if we are up against exceptionally tall strikers.

He's almost back though, just play him in front of Dummet/Haidara and we're good. With Obertan and Aarons out for a while, we need wingers and I think Santon can be used for that.

Wish Campbell could get a loan out to a foreign league for a year, like Abeid, I think he would do well in Southern European leagues like Spain, Italy, Greece or something? I think his talent is being wasted here, not getting first team experience. He should couple up with another prospect, like Vuckic, Bigi so he wont go alone.

Would be nice to have him back in the squad. I've got a feeling if he play again for us, he will do it better than what we have seen of him the last couple of years. Supposedly he's in a very good shape at the moment, strengthened with some extra muscle. If he's back in shape till January, I'd sell Tiote and use Jonas as a back-up defensive midfielder, with Abeid as the first-choice. Obviously lost his pace, but can be a useful midfielder with the added strength and conditioning.

He certainly looks very clumsy on the right, he loses all technique, can't cross, and loses balance and falls over way too easy.

Agree he should've played Abeid much sooner, Colback should've been rotated with this strong modern young footballer. Instead Colback has been playing every game, and I don't even what he is trying to do out there...
