A Cock and Bull Story. One of the most bizarre films I've ever seen as it encompassed the filming of a film within a film so kept jumping between the 18th Century and the present time. It was one that you had to concentrate on quite hard to keep up with, but the craic between Coogan and Brydon made it worth it.

If he looked like that there would be no way I would sit next to him at the match!

You meanies! I brought one bar of Dairy Milk with biscuitty things in for him, and that's all.

Add Tia Maria and Baileys to it and it's ok 81965 tbh 82247 Are shooters the drink of the gay then? 82254 Yep real men drink beer - I thought everybody knew that. 82258 Especially half a carling with a dash of lime. 82263 That's my tipple. Although it's usually a pint...

He meant tic-tacs. We remain shit at football but have minty-fresh breath and they're only 2 calories! 82103 Indeed, Souness described them as "proper" mints and the best mints he's ever worked with! 82129 He prefers Geordie born-and-bred mints though tbh.

I've just found this.. What. The. Fuck? "So Mr Jones, this is how it works. You can have a little bit of your money once we find out it's definitely cancer, a bit more once it's making you quite sick, the docs tell you it's touch and go and your hair starts to fall out, and then you can have the whoooooole jackpot once we get a letter telling us you're going to be 6-feet under in less than 6 months!! Huzzah!"

Sorry to get all serious for a minute but I've just seen an advert for insurance cover specifically for a cancer diagnosis, being offered by Mr Branson and his cronies. I'm trying to understand why it made me feel as uncomfortable as it did and I'm not sure I've worked it out yet, but I find it a bit distasteful that companies are playing on this specific fear in order to get people to take out policies. Whilst cancer is becoming increasingly more common, what is going to be next from the money-grabbers? Individual policies for heart-attack cover, strokes, brain haemmorhages, kidney failure etc? It also points out on the advert that the policy does not cover early-detected cervical cancer or non-melanoma skin cancer. So just the advanced cancers then? And can you cash them in at diagnosis or just once you know you're actually going to snuff it? Whilst understanding the reality and security of having a life insurance policy I just find this all a bit uncomfortable. Do they think they can get business from the families of people who have passed away through cancer because these people may feel that they are of a higher-risk? Anyway, just my thoughts....

[stops thread] I thought this was meant to be "unassociation" (a word which greatly annoys me every time I see it, as it should be 'disassociation' but that's just me being pedantic) [starts thread again/]

I was typing exactly that..... 82080 Look just put some clothes on and stop nebbing over me shoulder 82083

Pete is a fucking evil monster. He only did that for a reaction and greatly amused himself in the process. George and Preston were fucking spineless for not stepping in and challenging him.

Add Tia Maria and Baileys to it and it's ok 81965 Anyone tried a 'Cheeky Vimto'? It's a measure of Port topped up with a Blue WKD (bet Mark knew that). Supposedly tastes like Vimto 81972 Yep, you're supposed to down the bottle in one. 3 of them and you're well away 81994 They're bloody lethal.

I've had enough of talking about Asprilla's Foreskin. Let's talk about something else.

I don't think I'm contraversial at all. I'm not a very agressive person so I guess you could call me a pussy cat, but I'm shite at being told what to do which is why I'm self employed. 81897 Never mind all that. I need to learn how to spell.

Common sense - it's a girl thing.

AF, are you having some sort of Barrymore-esque breakdown? 81947 Nah...just trying to be myself and still get along with people here...a tall order I admit...but one I'm persevering with..... 81951 Here's a tip, and don't automatically get defensive cos I think you're probably a half-decent bloke, but you're trying too hard. You've shown in the past you can be canny and join in with the laughs, but you're far too easily offended and defensive, and it's not necessary. Stop attention-seeking, chill out and just enjoy the craic.

I think it's a shame that he couldn't come out and say nice things about Newcastle when he broke his foot. It pissed me off that instead of saying how disappointed he was at not being able to do a job for the club that paid a huge amount of money for him, pays him £100K a week and got him back into English football, all we got from him was that he wouldn't let the fans down by being back by the time the World Cup rolled around. I certainly think there could be more than a bit of truth in what Eriksson said about Owen, and I think that anyone who thinks any different is deluing themselves.
