Which is why I'm not a lawyer. Emotions however are very real, and there have been several times in my professional career where I have had to treat and care for patients that I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire should I encounter them in the street. However, I have a professional duty of care and have to get on with it. Doesn't mean I do so with a happy heart - I just have no grounds for professional conscientious objection in these cases.

This from the woman who gets upset about someone killing a cat............ 76092 I don't understand your point really, Rob. Yes, I get upset about someone killing cats. As Gemmill said, I also get upset about someone killing innocent children. I find it despicable and unimaginable. As for the 'eye for an eye' thing - I don't really know why I would want someone to be tortured daily, as in logic and reason, I know that it's just as bad. It just makes me angry that an adult can do something like this to bairns and I can't understand what makes them do it.

76004 What it doesn't say in Graeme's little post-match analysis up there was that the Sky blokey said something along the lines of "To the neutral football fan, it could be suggested that you were outplayed for large parts of the game today" To which Graeme replies "No, I don't think so" Funny - I could have sworn I saw him at the game today and it was blatantly ferking obvious that we WERE outplayed.
-
And just like the Murphy's - you're not bitter Please note - I am neither a Scouse sympathiser, nor a BTRA. I just watched the replays a couple of times. NJS - No idea why it was a yellow and take your point
-
Nice of Graeme to show his face today... Yeah, we're pretty similar to Chelsea having won by just the one goal And the longer the game went on, the more the fans were thinking "Shouldn't we actually have scored by now? We're playing fucking MANSFIELD TOWN for fuck's sake!"

There's a sticky at the top of the page already for people selling their spare tickets.

What in the name of God goes on in the heads of these people? What part of their brain actually allows them to carry out physical actions resulting in the murder of a 4 year-old, a 2-year old, and a 9 month-old baby and then impale them on railings? It's just incomprehensible. Utterly, utterly unfathomable. He should be kept locked up and tortured every single day for the rest of his life.

Not the case - the referee got that penalty wrong. Firstly the incident began outside of the penalty area and then replay clearly shows that Carson had no contact with Vine who stepped on the keeper and then went to ground. Tough one to call by the ref though.

Anyone watching this one? Ferking hell - it's a proper cup tie. When it was 3-1 to Luton I was delighted - no Liverpool for us to come up against in the next round would be nice! Now? Well.....erm....sheeeeyit.
-
I'm pleased that we won, and that we're through to the next round although it scares the shit out of me after seeing the totally incompetent way that we dealt with a team who are only 4 places from the bottom of the entire football league in this country. I still can't bring myself to actually want to lose a game despite knowing that it'll probably bring Souness ever closer to his demise. The atmosphere from our fans was pretty weird today. There was a lot of unrest and nervousness and some booing at half time, but there were very few 'Souness Out-ers' from what I could hear. A couple of our fans did join in with the Mansfield fans "Taxi for Souness" like, but it certainly didn't feel like it was the general consensus which I found a bit odd.

Just home from this debacle myself. Absolutely fucking appauling. Pleased for Shearer equalling the record but there were no other positives. Never have I been so bastard freezing and wanted to leave a match early in my life. Absolutely cracking set of Mansfield fans like. Fair play to them and their team.

Hugely pedantic, but shouldn't it say "You are amongst the *however many percent* highest earners in the UK, cos having a half decent annual salary doesn't make anyone rich if they spend it all every month

There is more make-up on Pete Burns than there is in Fenwicks ! 74950 True. You know what I can't stand? Women (and some blokes, it seems) that obviously think their lips are too small so they use lipliner outside of their normal lips and then fill them in, thus (they think) creating the illusion of fuller lips. It actually makes them look like 5 year-olds that have put mammy's lippy on without a mirror. Jodie Marsh (or The Childcatcher - see the nose?) please take note.
-
Yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!!
-
Thank God the place is full of mirrors. There's more make-up in that house than in the whole of Fenwicks.

We just don't need mental images like that at this time of the morning

I've never seen this show but some people at work have been raving about it. I don't think I could sit through 45 minutes of anything presented by Noel Edmonds like.

You pair of mingers

Oh, I forgot Colleen McLoughlin.

Where were you and your sidekick? 73269 Well me and Paul were too late for pre-match and I was going to me Mam's for a bit of a do afterwards. Shame I missed Pizza the Hut though although that won't me taking the piss. 73280 Pizza The Hut. Class.

Oh I can't, I don't have a yoga mat Oh, hang on......

Best post ever tbh. 73274 Modesty is one of your more endearing qualities. How the hell it's still working after dropping it down the bog is anyones guess. Last new year I put my mobile on the table in the pub, someone spilled a pint of lager and it seeped under my phone. The screen went funny, there was an electrical burning smell and it died instantly.

For some reason the adverts for these infuriate me. Already this morning I've seen advert after advert from C-list "celebs" like Janine off Eastenders, Lady Isabella Harvey, Martine McCutcheon, Jordan, Jane fucking Middlemiss and Anthony (you-too-can-look-as-much-of-a-cock-as-me-whilst-dancing-round-your-living-room-70's -stylee) from Big Brother. Grrrrrrr. Sorry, just fancied a rant.
