Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

aye, canny read. shame it's written by an absolute whopping cunt who spent 14 years with ashley's cock in his mouth and never held back with his criticism of newcastle's support for daring to dream of at least being mildly competitive against the elite he's now being so critical of he could also have done better by not continuously referring to 'united' and 'city'. something else the media seem to have happily embraced or been hoodwinked in to believing the 2 manchester clubs have exclusivity to. no problem with supporters of either club doing so, smacks of pandering to elitism otherwise. -

it was nick de marco from blackstone chambers who ashley used in his tiff with the premier league. likewise bird and bird for master's and his boys. it was always portrayed in the media that the saudis stumping up £1b in compensation to bein sports over the piracy issues, along with a miraculous and sudden seperation agreement between PIF and the saudi state, (something that had apparently been an issue for the previous year and a half) was why the takeover happened. odd I think that the competition appeal tribunal which was being aired live and listened to by over 30,000 people suddenly had to be taken off air (for legal arguement i seem to recall) only to be resumed live again later. I'd love to have been privy to what was being discussed then. that was on the 29th september and it was then adjourned for the judge to deliver his verdict at an unnamed later date. this never happened because an intervention by the footballing gods themselves oversaw the takeover go through a mere 8 days later. bizarre. bear in mind his verdict would've been public, whereas the arbitration hearing set for january 2022 was to remain private and which was stacked against newcastle. now I hate the very air that ashley breathes and I might be being a bit fanciful here, but I'd love to think he had his fat, grubby little fingers on something that could've blown master's credibility clean out the water, along with that of a couple of the main protagonists who were so against the consortium taking control of the club. I don't suppose we'll ever know. -

i have no great love for man city. i don't doubt they've blurred the lines to their advantage, but hey, if they have it's not like it's something their fellow members of the corrupt six haven't done or attempted with project big picture or the esl recently. in fact i would say i find man city infinitely less objectionable than than their cunt neighbours, the red dippers down the east lancs road or the laughably labelled big club, tottenham, to say nowt of chelsea's £600m outlay in the last 7 months. going further i don't even mind them fucking the premier league about, if they have, because i hate richard masters and whoever his side kick is since gary hoffman fucked off far more than man city. i find the very fact that the premier league can level claims of a lack of cooperation staggering when they deliberately kicked the can down the road for 18 months during their owners and directors test of our takeover, refused any kind of public transparency, delayed arbitration, did nowt to sanction public lobbying by bein sports, received letters from the self interested who saw their place at the top table threatened, attempted to block the competition appeal tribunal case altogether and then stop it from being aired publicly. fuck masters and his mates, hope man city bankrupt them. -
apparently though the fat lad rejected the opportunity to become wigan manager again after the sacking of kolo toure according to this... https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/wigan-athletic-rejected-by-62-year-old-before-appointing-shaun-maloney-and-key-reason-why-emerges/ amongst several other probably dubious sources, suggesting he wants to return to a higher level club if he goes back in to management. perhaps leeds fans should be concerned? there's no doubting the deluded fat cunt would think he was the man for the job, equally there's no doubting the stupidity of football club owners when it comes to employing the useless twat! be afraid elland road.

very bonny lass, with seemingly extremely poor taste.
-
well you might be right, but equally i'd be willing to bet that there'll be people who've been able to get a ticket for just about every away game this season suddenly finds their source is off to wembley. that's just the way it is.
-
there's no doubt you're right there and for all the reasons you list. i think though that it's unlikely to impact how far down the qualifying period the overall allocation drops to, because you can rest assured that for everyone not able to make it there'll be half a dozen people hassling them to get one on their behalf.

i never understood why ashley's horrific version of nufc were inclined to get themselves involved in that CAS case. it's not like the cunts had any interest in affairs at the top half of the table never mind challenging the position of the 'big 6' what they were spending was largely irrelevant as long as he could scrape 17th place and keep his six million sports direct logos on the tv. i can only assume keith bishop (probably the most transparent and incompetent pr guru on the planet) had got on the phone to lee charnley and told him to write to the premier league.... that'll show them stupid northern monkeys we're reaching for the stars. -
aye, tremendous. i'd always said i would go down there on the saturday after she died but by the time she actually got round to it i'd lost a bit of enthusiasm plus we were all going for a pub family meal for me grandson's 4th birthday. my best mate during the 80s from sunniside worked at marley hill colliery died a year or so before she did and was only in his mid 50s, when he was alive he was the only person i knew who probably hated thatcher more than me, so last minute i jumped on an national express coach and headed down there to have a beer in the square in his honour. probably more coppers than people, it was pissing down, had a canny night out in the nearby pubs though!
-
massively off topic i know, but i stood in the pissing down with rain and listened to this. trafalgar square's defining moment.....
-
in fairness i am lovely. everybody needs to bear this in mind in the unlikely event they find themselves in possession of an extra one!
-
it is a bit of a nightmare that. hope it works out for you mate. i remember as a kid me old man could only get his own ticket plus one other for the '74 final. being as me and me brother both wanted to go he decided it was fairest get one for neither of us.
-
i would've happily helped you out mate. you just click on a seat and then press the send to cheltenham button.

it all points to man city's equivalent of nick de marco tweeting photos of bread. -

cheers for bumping this thread. i'd nearly managed to put saturday behind me. -
oooh, look at me, I hobnob with managing directors. can you get your hands on any corporate tickets for the league cup final?
-
if he is a mackem, tell him giovanni pernice bounced the fucking bones out of her when she was in strictly.
-
I'd actually be a bit gutted if the lovely faye turned out to be a closet mackem. proper minx when she had her dreads!
-
at great personal sacrifice i might forego any attempt to get a ticket for this as well as not bothering to turn on the tv, instead listen on the radio whilst needlessly re-weathersealing the rendering on the back of the house. it seemed to work for our trip to craven cottage. we need goals, hopefully isak can be loaded up with a paracetamol and ibuprofen combination and make a start along with gordon, who i and many others thought looked decent yesterday, not so a minority of one! as for saint-maximin and to quote (nearly) the legendary haircut 100's 'love plus one' masterpiece.... where does he go from here, is it back to the bench i fear? aye aye aye aye aye ah aye aye aye aye aye ah ps..... if anybody feels a thread starter needs refreshing i'll happily delete this.

they usually only roll out the big guns like that to interview alex hurst.
